When Arianne finished adjusting to the light, she turned her head and stared at the man who had given her 95 Favorability Points. Her eyes were blank.

Her bleak gaze made him furrow his brows. After knowing, she was safe, Magnus had regained a healthy pallor, though not enough to match his usual imposing countenance, it was enough to not cause worry.

Arianne felt a cold a finger brushed her forehead, arranging the loose dyed raven tendrils behind her ears. "Do you hurt anywhere?" His voice was warm as it drifted in her ears, but there was also mixed with something ominous.

Arianne couldn't appreciate his thoughtfulness, she was confused. The system's notification was still ringing in her ears.
