บท 99: Sick Marin
*knock* *knock* *knock*
"Marin! Can you hear me? Open the door." I asked while standing right infront of the door.
It had taken me only a few minutes to reach her house and now I was here, waiting for her response. I knocked multiple times and I got more and more nervous after every beating knock.
Sweat trickled down the side of my face and on my chin. I didn't know if it was due to nervousness or the exhaustion from running here.
"Marin!!" I shouted and finally, I heard movement from inside. It was the sound of rapid footfalls which I prayed would be her's.
The door was pulled open and I was greeted by the sight of Marin. She was wearing a black lingerie that was displaced, revealing one of her pink nipples.
Her golden hair was in a chaotic mess that spoke of a very obvious fact, she just woke up. Yet her messy hair had a 'just got up and messy but still look good' kind of vibe.

Her eyebrows shot up in surprise when she saw me. "Huh? Yuito what are you doing here." She asked in confusion.
I was pretty sure her dream had not completely left her head. She was only half awake.
I waved my hand infront of her and her hazy brown eyes gained clarity. Then her eyes widen and she suddenly closed the door on my face.
"Kyaaaa!!!" I heard through the closed door and I couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief.
Nothing was wrong it seems. Marin had just woken up late and completely slept in. At least I hope that was the case.
"Marin, open the door." I asked, my voice was normal and gentle this time.
"Your crazy!! I just woke up!! You absolutely cannot see me like this." She replied from inside, her voice was panicking and I could hear her restless movements.
I chuckled at her cute behavior. She didn't know she was still one of the most stunning woman I have ever seen even when she just woke up.
"Don't laugh!!" She screamed, her voice tinged with shame. "W-Wait a minute. Let me clean up first." I heard her stumbling away from the door,
I laughed out loud and opened the door anyways. I went inside and I could hear the sound of water splashing in her bathroom.
I walked towards her bathroom and before I could go inside, she ran out from the bathroom and completely froze when she saw me.
At least she was still wearing skincare and minimal makeup when she slept and when she just woke up. But now, after washing her face there was no makeup on her face.
I finally saw her natural face, with no makeup, contacts, eyeliner, fake eyelashes etc.
I admire her natural pretty face and did not know why she would put makeup over her true beauty. But Marin did not share my thoughts as her expression turned into horror and she collapsed on the floor.
*Crash!!*
"Marin!" I called out in worry as I kneeled down and take her body in my arms. She was covering her face with her hands while she blushed in absolute shame.

She panicked and ran around the house, she looked at the clock on the wall. She refused to believe it and ran into the living room to check the other clock. It was the same.
She whined and shook her head in exasperation. I watched the whole scene with an amused smile while I remained on the ground.
"Wait, you miss school too?" Marin finally seemed to realise and turned to me.
I shrugged, "I was worried about you. I ran to your house the moment I realised you were absent and I didn't know why."
Marin stood in her place and looked at me. She bit her lips and love seemed to overflow from her eyes. The way she was looking at me could probably melt ice.
She slowly walked towards me while saying, "Awwwhh~"
She wrapped her arms around me and sat on my lap on the ground. I embraced her back and I didn't need to ask her why she got up late and missed school.
