"No!" Noirelle's scream was like an earthquake itself. She bolted out towards the burning houses, looking for the survivors. 

"What happened here?" Riwan was just as shocked as her, while Argenis remained behind as he summoned the mana and called upon the rain.

The water dropping from the sky helped them extinguish the visible fire, but the heavy beams under the collapsed roofs were transformed into burning coals and created a lot of smoke.

"Everyone…! Is there anyone?" She broke down the first door she saw and forced her way inside.

"What is this smell?" Argenis caught up to them and asked. When the fire was put out and the smoke calmed down, another scent spread through the air. But he wished he didn't say anything when he saw the source of it.
