"Of course not." Leo glared at her as if she'd said something ridiculous. "Why would she need to know? It's a different part of my life that has nothing to do with Ilse."

"I don't think she'd see it that way, my lord. Ilse wants a faithful man. Most women do." Violet couldn't believe how the prince justified his behaviour, acting as if some of his encounters with women could just be excused.

Leo's jaw jutted out stubbornly. He was obviously not enjoying the general direction of conversation. "She doesn't need to know and she's not going to know, because who's going to tell her? You?"
