The moment hung in the air, suspended between the echoes of the past and the promise of the future as I averted my gaze that wished to linger on the town for one second more. 

As I turned, Lira's embrace enveloped me, her arms wrapping around me with a depth of affection that stirred emotions within me. 

The world around us seemed to blur, fading into insignificance as her presence consumed my senses.

"Oh…?" And then, an unexpected kiss, her lips pressing against mine with a delicate urgency. 

My heart raced, a surge of warmth coursing through me as her kiss lingered on my lips, flushing my face as I felt a sense of comfort within the pit of my stomach.

I really needed this after all those haunting deaths I've been recalling constantly.

"I've missed you..." Lira's whispered confession was a tender admission, her voice laced with shyness that mirrored the vulnerability I felt within me for her cuteness.
