บท 35: Search

After the intense battle with the Hydra, I found a moment of rest as the villagers tended to their wounded and the remnants of the fallen beast were dealt with.

"Fuck…" I cursed. Lira's disappearance gnawed at my heart, and I knew I couldn't rest until I found her.

As I was preparing to depart immediately and search for her, Izzy and Alaric, two of my party members, and other fellow villagers approached me with curious expressions.

Izzy raised her right brow suspiciously and spoke with a low tone, "Nord, that was actually amazing… How did you manage to defeat the Hydra? It's a B-Rank monster!"

Alaric chimed in, "Yeah, seriously! Your abilities were off the charts back there, you were literally flying my man!"

Evie also finally approached her after helping a few wounded ones, "We would've all died if it wasn't for you, Nord."

I offered them a brief smile, not wanting to reveal too much. "Thanks, guys. I mean it was tough, but I had a few tricks up my sleeve and used my brain."
