Before parting ways with Darjan and Eman, the latter stopped me, expressing his incredulity, "Yo, what's up, man? The Hounds Wakey? Are you dumb, Dionis?"

After the two families each entered their respective cars, I found myself walking back up the hill to my home. A tinge of disappointment lingered as none of the four parents present offered me a ride. Nevertheless, I shrugged it off, saying, "God gave me two legs, so might as well use them."
