Half an hour later, while we relaxed on the ground floor, the sound of crashes and screams echoed from outside the cell block. With a sense of urgency, we geared up and rushed out, eager to witness the unfolding chaos.
As we sprinted through the massive halls, guided by the loud screams, I couldn't help but feel my eyes widen with disbelief. It seemed that those fucking nerds really went face to face with people they knew they'll lose against.
"Crazy fucks," I muttered under my breath as Eman kicked the door open to the second cell block just to be meet with massive chaos inside.
My boys, clutching their batons, stood ready to charge into the battle. Just as they started to sprint toward the tumult, I intervened, shouting, "Stop! Let's watch them from the back for now. Let's see what they're capable of."
My men halted in their tracks, and took a few steps back. We positioned ourselves in front of the exit, blocking the path, so nobody could leave.
As much as I want to make Dionis badass in this chapter and in this entire arc, I just can't. It's simply how real life works, how every person has it's loses and grows from it. I hope that Dionis always losing in this arc isn't turning all of you off. ;( - Author
