บท 129: Meeting The King

"Prince Kane!" Albert called with an unbelievable expression on his face. He was astounded by the prince's requests and the timing also was off. How did Kane expect him to seek an audience with the king on such short notice? It seemed to Albert that he didn't want to do anything to help Eliza.

Albert glanced at the physician who had an equally shocked look on his face. The doctor thought the prince's demands were outstanding. No one could ask the king for such. He was beginning to think this was a lost cause and the movie should just go and mourn his daughter. There was nothing that could be done at this point.

"Did you say before you give the antidote?" Albert asked Kane as he looked at the prince with a sideways glance. Be wanted to make sure he had heard properly.
