บท 91: An Awkward Situation

In the Transmere palace, Zuri and Jessica returned from their shopping with the items needed to add to the decorations the servants had already done. The party was scheduled for later that evening – almost midnight and Jessica was hyped about it. She had missed her friends and the little, no huge gossips they shared between each other.

Jessica squealed when she stepped into her chambers and Jeffery popped up from behind the door to scare her.

"What's wrong with this grown man?" she asked in a teasing tone as she threw a ribbon she was holding at his face.

Zuri smiled and watched them play together. "Who would have thought that you could be this playful, Jeffery?"

"You need to see him when I want to rest…" Jessica said. "That's when he would gather up all his strength to come at me."
