บท 36: He's Terrified

It was still midnight and the humans in Transmere were fast asleep. Jaden knew that Zuri would be too so he didn't bother to ask Kathy to wake her for him. He thanked Kathy for bringing his attention to something like Heller had done and assured her that it would be handled.

Jaden sat back in his chair and intertwined his fingers under his chin. He was fuming and seething at the same time. How dare Heller put his hands on what belonged to him? The vampire was supposed to pay for what he had done. However, Kane was there as well – as Jaden couldn't bypass him to punish his man. He would have to speak with Kane about the matter but Jaden could already tell how the conversation would go and what the outcome would be. But he didn't mind.

He stood from his chair and walked out of his office straight for Kane's chambers – again.
