"We've been searching for Thanos for three weeks," Steve Rogers said, "Scanning outer space, satellite searches, but we found nothing." Steve Rogers looked at Tony Stark and said, "Tony, you've faced him before."
"Who told you that?" Tony Stark asked back. "I didn't 'face off' with him. He beat me up with a planet, and then that brick street magician handed over the gem. The fact is, it can't be considered a 'face-off' at all. He's simply unbeatable."
"Did he reveal any clues or objectives?" Steve Rogers asked.
"I foresaw it a few years ago. I saw visions. At first, I didn't want to believe it; I thought I was dreaming," Tony Stark didn't directly answer Steve Rogers' question.
"Tony, I need you to focus," Steve Rogers stood up.
"I once needed you too. I mean, in the past, that was even more important than your current needs. It's too late, man, sorry," Tony Stark's emotions started to escalate. "You know what I need now? I need to shave! And I've told all of you..." Tony Stark removed the needles from his arm and raised his voice, "What we need is a set of armor to protect this world! Remember? Regardless of whether it affects our precious freedom, that's what we truly need."
"But it didn't succeed, did it?" Steve Rogers asked back.
"I said we would lose, and you said, 'Then we'll do that together.' Guess what, Captain? We lost, and you weren't there!" Tony Stark seemed resentful towards Steve Rogers. "But that's what we do, isn't it? Always acting after the fact! We are 'Avengers,' not 'Preventers.'"
"Alright, you made yourself very clear," James Rhodes stepped forward to support Tony Stark. "Sit down for now."
"No, I'm not done yet." Tony Stark shook off James Rhodes and walked up to Steve Rogers. "I don't have anything to give you, Captain. No coordinates, no clues, no strategy, no choice! No trust either, you charlatan!" Tony Stark pulled the Arc Reactor from his chest and handed it to Steve Rogers. "Take it, hold onto it. You find him, put it on. You'll hide..."
As Tony Stark spoke, he collapsed to the ground, unconscious.
Everyone quickly placed Tony Stark on the bed, and Pepper Potts took care of him inside, while the others continued discussing how to deal with Thanos.
"Bruce injected him with a sedative. He probably won't wake up today," James Rhodes said.
"Take care of him, and when I come back, I'll bring some Kree medicine for him," Captain Marvel Carol Danvers said as she was about to leave.
"Where are you going?" Steve Rogers asked.
"To kill Thanos," Carol Danvers said casually.
"This girl is so domineering!" At this point, Scott Lang couldn't help but comment, "When she turned around, I thought she was going shopping, but I didn't expect her to go kill Thanos!"
"Only she can say such a thing as killing Thanos in such a nonchalant tone, I suppose?" Steve Rogers said.
"But she's really strong," Tony Stark said, "It's normal for her to be that confident."
"I don't know what you guys think," Nick Fury also spoke up, "But in my eyes, Carol is the most powerful hero I've ever seen!"
"Hey, we usually act together," Natasha Romanoff followed after her in the video, "Off the record, morale is a bit low right now."
"We know space is your domain," Steve Rogers said, "But this is our fight too."
"Do you know where he is?" James Rhodes asked.
"I know someone who might know," Carol Danvers said.
"No need to trouble anyone," Nebula's voice came, "I can tell you where he is."
In a sense, Nebula might be the most pitiful girl. Originally, she was quite pretty, but Thanos had transformed her into this half-human, half-cyborg appearance, and people who didn't know might think she's a robot.
"Thanos spent a long time perfecting me. When he was modifying me, he always talked about his great plan," Nebula's voice sounded somewhat cold and emotionless due to her robot-like appearance, "Even when he was disassembling me, I still wanted to please him. I would ask where we would go when the plan was complete. His answer was always the same: the garden."
"So, where is he?" Steve Rogers asked.
Rocket Raccoon stood on the table and opened a projection device, showing a blue planet in front of everyone.
"When Thanos snapped his fingers, Earth became the epicenter of a universal energy surge, unparalleled in history. Until two days ago..." Rocket Raccoon projected a new planet, "Another one happened on this planet."
"There's Thanos," Nebula said.
"He used a gem again," Natasha Romanoff leaned over to observe the planet projection.
"Hehehe, we'll be short-handed if we go there," Bruce Banner reminded.
"But the gem is still with him, so we..."
"We'll go and take it back," Carol Danvers interrupted James Rhodes, "Use the Infinity Stone to save everyone."
"Even if there's a glimmer of hope to salvage everything, we must try for everyone who's not here," the white-haired Natasha Romanoff said.
"Even if we really go, how do we know the outcome will be different from the last time?" Bruce Banner asked a crucial question.

"There are many planets in the universe, but unfortunately, they don't have all of you," Carol Danvers gave a reason that seemed hard to refuse.
However, Tony Stark always found a "thorn" to pick. He turned to Nick Fury and said, "Fury, I remember you told us about Carol. When she left Earth, there were no superheroes on Earth, right?"
"At that time, Earth had only one superhero, Captain, but he was in a coma, and we all thought he was dead. And you didn't have the Hulkbuster armor inside you, the Asgardian gods didn't descend, and you hadn't made the Iron Man suit..." Nick Fury shrugged, "So yes, at that time, there were no superheroes on Earth."
"So Carol's words just now are quite funny, right? She went to other planets to be a hero where there were no superheroes, but her own mother planet had no superheroes either. While the group was passionately discussing the pregnancy of Thor, the video showed the superheroes on a spaceship flying into space.
Surprisingly, the one sitting in the pilot's seat was none other than Rocket Raccoon!
So many people, yet it's a raccoon that's driving the spaceship!
This made the superheroes in the Answer Space feel extremely absurd.
"Who here hasn't been to space?" Rocket Raccoon turned around and asked.
Captain America Steve Rogers, War Machine James Rhodes, and Black Widow Natasha Romanoff raised their hands one after another.
"You better not vomit in my spaceship," Rocket Raccoon reminded them seriously.
This statement made the superheroes in the Answer Space even more incredulous. It turns out that not only does this raccoon know how to fly a spaceship, but this spaceship is also his!
When did even pet raccoons have spaceships?
It can only be said that the future is too magical.
"Approaching the jump point, three, two, one!" With Nebula's countdown, the spaceship suddenly entered a strange temporal tunnel and, in the blink of an eye, stopped above a large planet.

The camera switched, and a serene and picturesque place with green mountains, clear waters, birds chirping, and fragrant flowers appeared before everyone. In this peaceful place, a set of armor was casually inserted into the ground, like a scarecrow.
Thanos was walking in the fields, picking an unknown fruit and putting it in a bag, then he walked towards a simple-looking wooden hut.
And then, Thanos lit up the stove, and the flames crackled as a pot was placed on the fire, boiling away.
He added some ingredients to another pot on the table and moved it over to the fire. Then he sat down next to the stove.
This scene left the superheroes in the Answer Space completely dumbfounded.
"Is this really Thanos?" Phil Coulson said, "The destroyer actually lives this kind of life?"
"This reclusive life, away from worldly affairs, is really enviable," Bruce Banner couldn't help but say, "After watching this, I can't help but want to live that kind of life."
"If I didn't see it with my own eyes, I wouldn't believe that this would be Thanos," Tony Stark's face showed disbelief. "If his pot was boiling heads, and he was burying bodies in the field, that would be more normal. But he's just cooking vegetables and rice, living the life of a rural farmer."
Indeed, it turned out that for someone who committed such heinous crimes, retiring and living a simple life was not an easy thing to do. Almost as soon as Thanos sat down in front of the stove, a dazzling light descended from the sky, and then Carol Danvers flew in and grabbed Thanos' neck from behind.
Immediately after, Bruce Banner, wearing the anti-Hulk Hulkbuster armor, emerged from the ground and grabbed Thanos' left hand.
War Machine James Rhodes also flew in from the right side and grabbed Thanos' right arm.
Then, Thor charged in, shouting, and with a swing of his axe, he cut off Thanos' gloved left hand!
Rocket Raccoon turned the severed hand over, and his expression changed immediately because there were no Infinity Stones on the Infinity Gauntlet.
"Where are the stones?" Steve Rogers glanced at the gauntlet and asked in a deep voice.
"They are gone, turned into atoms," Thanos lied on the ground.
"You used them just two days ago!" Bruce Banner didn't believe Thanos' words at all.
"I used the stones to destroy the stones. It almost cost me my life," Thanos said, seemingly nonchalant, as if he were just chatting with friends.
"You've murdered trillions of lives!" Bruce Banner couldn't contain his anger and punched Thanos to the ground.
"You should be grateful," Thanos didn't think he had done anything wrong.
For this response, Bruce Banner delivered another iron fist straight to his face.
"Where are the stones?" Natasha Romanoff asked again.
"Gone, turned into atoms," Thanos lying on the ground replied.
"Two days ago, you still used them!" Bruce Banner couldn't believe Thanos' words.
"I used the stones to destroy the stones. It almost cost me my life," Thanos said, "But the deed is done, it was destined to happen." Saying this, Thanos raised his head, looking at everyone, and said his classic line, "I am inevitable."
However, unlike the last time he said this line, clad in armor with a vast army at his command, defeating the Avengers effortlessly, he now looked like an old, injured hermit in a rural area.
No armor, no army, no weapons.
He only had himself.
Alone and isolated.
Even his own daughter wanted to kill him.
What a tragic state of affairs.
"I actually believe Thanos is not lying," Stephen Strange said in the Answer Space, "That kind of tyrant would certainly not stoop to lying."
"When the Avengers confronted him, he didn't resist at all, looking as if he would listen to anything," Clint Barton said, "If the stones were still with him, he wouldn't act like that. I also believe he really destroyed the stones."
"Are you kidding? You actually believe Thanos?" Nick Fury, as the head of the secret agency, immediately expressed his doubt, "Can we really trust that mass murderer? I won't believe a word he says!"
"Lying is only a trick for the weak. A true strong person would never do such a thing," Tony Stark added, "And Thanos' terrible injuries are also good evidence. Even with all the effort Steve and I put in, we only managed to draw a bit of blood from him. To leave him in such a state, it must have been the power of the stones."
"We have to turn this place upside down; he's definitely lying," Tony Stark believed Thanos, but his buddy James Rhodes didn't. In the video, he said so.
"My father has many qualities, but lying has never been one of them," Nebula spoke up.
"Thank you, daughter. Perhaps I was too cruel to you in the past," Thanos thanked Nebula, grateful that she still believed in him.
As soon as this sentence was finished, Thor swung his axe and beheaded Thanos.
