บท 54: Chapter 54
The school hall was now full of the year twelve students of year 2XXX.
"Class of 2XXX I have high hopes for you. Not only have you opened doors for this school in terms of debate, drama and achievements you have broadened oue highrises. And for that thank you. But this year is unlike any another. This year you will be applying for university where some of you may continue your journey and others my opt to take gap years..." The prince continued on with his speech.
The drama club with Noa and Brianna leading it has had five performances with the town's people attending and buying tickets. They where even part of this year's new year special.
They where also recognised by a restort visitor who invited them over to his theatre last year during one of their performances to perform for his ten year old neice.
According to Noa they where offered a chance to star in a movie albeit as side-characters. Brianna agreed which was why she was barely at school for half the year but she still managed to pass.
Thanks to that she'd been offered a few more roles but her parents wanted her to finish school before continuing with acting.
Noa refused for the same reason, although she could have been home schooled she said that she wanted the full high school experience before continuing her dreams.
"...No let the head girl of the school and president of the debate team as of recently make her way to the stand" the principal said as he handed Mia the mic. She began her speech.
Brianna rolled her eyes at her. If she had been at school she would have become the head girl instead. At first she had been envious of how quickly Wren had become famous but now she didn't care as much since she was now as equally famous.
Just this morning a students asked to take a few pictures with her and get her autograph she was almost late. Comparing being head girl and a super star was like comparing heaven and earth the distance was infinite.
Suddenly a frown appeared on her face. Why did she have to quote [Super Star] by BLUEPRINT and that a line sang by Wren.
Easton had become deputy head boy and was the head of the student government. Mai was too busy and he didn't mind taking the task at all. At first he thought he'd be pissing off Zaden but he'd been played.
Cardan and Zaden had also become prefects along with Remy who had become secretary.
Remy had changed schools last year and had been attending with them ever since. Before becoming famous Mia had wanted him because of his rich parents but his wired stutter chased her away and plus now she had more options.
The assembly ended and they all went to their new classes while passing the new year 10 students. Just a few years ago it had been them.
"So which university are you applying for?" Easton asked as soon as they entered the class with the other's following along soon after.
"DU,KU and MU" Cardan and Zaden replied instinctively.
Easton rolled his eyes "Yeah I know it's not like those are the top 3 universities in the country" he said sarcastically before continuing "I mean which university is your top one like the one you want to attend."
"I'd s-say Kaishi University" Remy said softly as he brushed away the bangs fanning his face.
Easton nodded "Where dreams come true not bad Remy" Easton said as he qouted the slogon of the university.
"Dingbu university" Zaden replied.
Cardan tsked, Easton rolled his eyes and Remy sent him a supportive smile.
"What?!" Zaden looked at them in question. What was wrong with his choice.
"We all know where you're going and it's obviously because that's where Mia is going" Easton stated matter of fact as he raised his glasses.
"As if you could do better" Zaden said with an eye roll.
Giving Easton a challenging look he replied "As a matter of fact I can I'm planning on applying to Capricorn University" he finished with a smug smile.
CU was a university in the west and was ranked 3rd in the best university rankings list.This University's acceptance rate was 16%.
Zaden scoffed in frustration as he looked away. He wasn't going to lie he hadn't seen that one coming and honestly he was proud of him.
But he wouldn't let him have the last laugh.
"Tell me when you can beat Mai, Cardan and Remy then only can we start talking about you going to CU." Zaden finished with a grin.
Easton's face slowly began to turn a bit red "I'll tell you that right after Noa and Cardan have finished making babies" at those words Cardan nearly choked on his spit.
Zaden and Remy both had looks of horror on their faces as Easton give a smirk of triumph. Zaden wasn't the only one who wanted to have the last word.
"That's it" before Cardan and Remy could comprehend Zaden was flying on top of Easton.
The class had now turned their attention to those two before looking away. They had now gotten used to it so they didn't care much. And the teachers where still in their meeting.
Cardan began taking pictures before sending them to the town group . Remy moved to get in between the two off them.
Breathing in between the two and seeing that they where slowly calming down Remy spoke "So which un-university do you w-want to f-for to Cardan?"
Six set of eyes where now on Cardan.
"It's between DU and MU honestly I'm still indecisive" he answered.
"Typical MU is known for being the prettiest university although DU is also understandable" Easton said as he fixed his glasses.
"Really, I honestly thought that he would just choose MU, he's shallow like that" Zaden said as he took a seat.
What was worse about this two arguing was them getting along and unfortunately Cardan had always been their punching bag.
