A golden thunderbolt streaked across the sky, its deafening roar echoing through the air. Within Grisha's body, the power of two mighty Titans set off a chain reaction, altering the very fabric of the world. Lin Yi, gripping the sword's hilt, could distinctly sense that at this very moment, it had gained a subtle and enigmatic sensation—a feeling as if it could command the universe itself.

While the powers of the Attack Titan and the Armored Titan might not have undergone significant evolution for Jörmungandr, Lin Yi could now perceive a transformation within, as it became the embodiment of authority. With a mere thought, he could rouse scores of Colossal Titans from within the walls of Rose. In this world, this was the ultimate strength.
"This sensation is indeed delicate, so subtle it could lead one astray," Lin Yi murmured to himself. Suddenly wielding the power to dictate life and death could easily make one feel invincible, fostering a disdain for everything. Just moments ago, Lin Yi had even toyed with thoughts of obliteration. Fortunately, he swiftly regained his composure.
The turbulence gradually subsided, and Jörmungandr's turmoil gave way to serenity. The Titan's remains still radiated intense heat, gradually melting and vanishing into thin air. "Let's consider it a nightmarish ordeal," Lin Yi remarked as he gazed down at Eren lying on the ground. He lifted Eren gently, carrying him back to District.
Thanks to Grisha's efforts, one-third of the directive to amass the powers of the Nine Titans had been fulfilled. Lin Yi now wielded the abilities of the Armored Titan, the Attack Titan, and the Founding Titan.
The following day...
Eren had been unconscious for quite some time. When he suddenly awoke, he found himself reclining on a hospital bed, with Herys tending to him. "Where's my father? What transpired last night?" Eren's breath came in rapid bursts as he urgently inquired.
However, Herys responded with a puzzled expression and a smile. "Mr. Eren, it appears you had a distressing dream. You collapsed unexpectedly yesterday. The doctor attributed it to malnutrition from your time in the refugee camp. You should rest more."
Eren was taken aback. Despite the vividness of last night's events—the furious visage of his father was etched into his mind—everything was being dismissed as mere dreams?
"Mr. Eren, it seems you've been yearning for your father a great deal. But don't worry, the boss has directed the company to keep a watchful eye for any leads. If there's anything, we'll notify you promptly." Herys continued to explain, dispelling Eren's bewilderment.
"Just a dream, then?" Eren shook his head, but upon reflection, he expressed gratitude. "Please convey my thanks to Boss Lin."
Herys nodded, advised Eren to rest, and departed after offering a few medical recommendations.
Meanwhile, Lin Yi was acclimating himself to the newfound power of Jörmungandr. The system explained the power of the three Titans he'd absorbed. Jörmungandr functioned as a temporary vessel, enabling Lin Yi to wield the Authority of Titans. Each Authority corresponded to a specific Titan's power.
"System, can I bring people from the Ghoul World here?" "You can. The coordinates of the Titan world are stable. However, opening the passage consumes a substantial amount of energy. Consequently, a year's interval is required between openings to replenish the energy." The system's dispassionate voice resonated in Lin Yi's ears.
"A year in the Ghoul world equates to a year here." Lin Yi had pondered this notion for some time. With the system's elucidation, he felt reassured.
Although he appeared to have an auspicious start by attaining the powers of the three Titans, Grisha had already passed away. On the Marleyan front, major actions likely wouldn't unfold for some time.
However, Lin Yi's ambition extended beyond merely acquiring the powers of the Nine Titans. He aspired to attain absolute control over the entire Titan world. He aimed to subjugate every world he traversed, stabilize its coordinates, and employ them as stepping stones for his progression.
For instance, the Ghoul world was already within his dominion. He could commandeer its riches and wield its power at his leisure.
Yet, the Titan world's situation was unique, governed by the royal family. Unlike in his other worlds, he lacked familiar and trustworthy individuals. Mikasa remained too young, and grooming her into a suitable proxy would necessitate significant time.
He required manpower immediately. "Then let's initiate the spacetime passage. I need to depart momentarily." Little preparation was needed. When Lin Yi left the Titan world, time would halt in his current realm. Following his initial journey, the passages between the Titan and Ghoul world had stabilized considerably. The second opening yielded minimal turbulence.
Crossing what felt like a curtain of darkness, Lin Yi's eyes blinked open to heavy rain and a biting wind. Tall structures loomed in the distance, their lights casting a vibrant glow.
The scene was a stark departure from the Titan world. The day was bustling for people. The enactment of the Ghoul Act had ushered in a flurry of tasks. Ghouls who had previously languished in idleness were now registered citizens, obliged to engage in gainful employment. Assigning roles and workplaces necessitated meticulous planning.
In his capacity as bureau chief, Lin Yi delegated much of this responsibility to Akira and the Twins.
As he entered, Lin Yi suddenly embraced her from behind, eliciting a startle. "What's the matter? You startled me."
"I just missed you a bit." Lin Yi's admission was sincere.
Blushing, Akira playfully quipped, "You're quite the charmer. It's only been a day, and you're already making me blush."
Lin Yi met her gaze, concerned that his teasing might dampen her spirits. The Yasuhisa sisters walked past, giggling as they concluded their work.
Lin Yi held Akira close, leading her naturally toward his bedroom.
