บท 49: To be One
Dai immediately tried to throw a punch at Vegeta.
It seems like a cheap shot. But for Dai, it was testing the Prince of all Saiyans as he was not even using his full power when he threw the punch.
However, his fist was blocked before it connected.
Not by Vegeta but by Turles.
"Did your parents didn't teach you that it was rude to attack someone out of nowhere? Ahh sorry, I forgot only a few Saiyans survived." Turles said.
"Your parents must be dead." He said with a smile on his face.
"You bastard. You dare to try such cheap methods." Nappa said as he launched a charged ki blast at Dai.
Dai easily dodged Nappa's attack.
He immediately backed off from Nappa and Turtle's range as he forced Turles to let go of his hand.
It is not going to be easy. Dai thought as he looked at both Turles and Nappa.
Nappa the bald one is stronger than Raditz described him to be.
And the one who looked like him was not as simple as just another low-class Saiyan.
It was because after Raditz left both Turles, Nappa and Vegeta were able to power up by eating the divine fruits commonly called the fruits from the tree of might.
Just eating a single bite can increase your power by leaps and bounds and all the Saiyans apart from Raditz have eaten quite a few fruits.
Making them immensely powerful than what they are supposed to be.
Now Turle's power level is close to Vegeta's power level before he ate the fruits and Nappa was not too far behind. With a power level surpassing six thousand.
The two powered up to their maximum capabilities as they looked at Dai.
"... Get out of my way. I am only here to battle the strongest among you." Dai said to Turles and Nappa.
"You bastard. Do you think we would let you fight Vegeta without facing us?" Nappa said to Dai in anger.
"Come on Kakarrot. We Saiyans have to stick together." Turles said while having a strange smile on his face which made Dai uncomfortable.
Then without any warning or whatever Nappa used the rush variant of the lariat on Dai sending him flying away.
"Tch. It looked like this was not going to be as simple as I thought." Dai said as he quickly recovered from Nappa's attack.
Now the combined power of Turles and Nappa is higher than Vegeta in his base form.
But Dai didn't know this and his evaluation of Vegeta was getting higher and higher with every second.
"Well, I might enjoy this as much as I can," Dai said as he prepared to fight.
He was not using his golden eye form because he wanted to enjoy fighting Nappa and Turles instead of defeating them without any difficulty.
"Take this," Nappa yelled out as he launched a full-powered ki blast at Dai.
Dai flew into the air to Dodge the attack but he was greeted by Turles who tried to smack him down into the ground with a kick.
Dai put his two hands over his head to block the kick.
Dai started to smile as he noticed that the part of the hand where he used to block the kick was a little bruised.
This is a real challenge. Dai thought joyfully in his head.
The Turles back off suddenly.
Dai immediately noticed what was coming since he saw Nappa's body start to overflow with ki.
"Volcanic explosion," Nappa yelled out as a large explosion occurred in the place where Dai was and smoke covered the whole arena.
"Did we get him?" Nappa asked Turles.
However, Dai appeared in front of Nappa in the blink of an eye after the smoke from the explosion was cleared.
And punched him in the face sending him flying away.
"Nappa?" Turles was shocked.
"Where do you think you are looking?" Dai said as he flew towards Turles to attack him.
However, Turles was able to respond to Dai's uppercut as his power level was closer to Dai's base power compared to Turles.
"Force Rising Kick," Dai said as his legs started to glow.
Then he launched an overhead kick at Turles however Turles dodged the attack.
The two started to exchange punches and Kicks after Dai's overhead kick missed with each unable to land a critical strike.
Before long Nappa returned to the battlefield he dashed straight towards Dai with a fist that was coated in a red aura.
Then he formed a ki blast with the fist which was coated with ki and launched it towards Dai.
Dai seeing this throws a punch at Turles which will be easy to dodge he evades the left side.
This was because if Turles evaded to the left he would be directly in the path of Nappa's attack that was coming towards him.
Turles took the bait as he was hit by Nappa's red energy ball in the back.
Then Dai appeared in front of Turles and kicked him into the ground with a heel drop.
"Light's Kamehameha," Dai said as he launched a white Kamehameha at the place where Turles fell.
His eyes turned golden when he was charging the Kamehameha but returned to normal after launching the Kamehameha.
A huge hole was created in the place where Dai's Kamehameha landed.
"Kuu." Turles tried to get back up to fight Dai but the Kamehameha that hit him was too powerful for him to recover immediately.
While trying to stand straight Turles fell to the ground on his back.
As he was now totally in a position where he could not fight for a while.
Nappa stopped charging towards Dai as he discovered that Dai was stronger than he could have imagined.
"Excellent. It was such an amusing show." Vegeta said as he started to clap his hands while looking directly at Dai.
However, Vegeta still seems to be confident that he can defeat Dai so Vegeta is not very worried.
Thinking that the strength that Dai showed when fighting against his full power.
"And Nappa. Take him and then get out of my way I will take care of this myself." Vegeta said as he directly commanded Nappa to stop fighting while pointing at Turles.
