His lips twitched as he remembered his recent catastrophe…
Turns out that his Dogma was so powerful that he had to recultivate from scratch… again!
But how could this stop Jin Wu?
You have to know, he's a man who has cultivated Qi 5 times!
In terms of recultivating, he was an expert!
Not to mention that, but Jin Wu found out that every level corresponded to the Cultivation realms. There were also specific Divine Abilities that were given during each along with special features.
In the Qi Training realm, his Spirit Roots directly became Space Element and had spread throughout his body like actual roots. In JIn Wu's body, his spirit roots and meridians were the same, carrying aura throughout his entire body.
This made him much stronger than a normal cultivator in the same realm. Mu Yu and Long Zi were the same. Also, Jin Wu created a new Qi pathway! Instead of cycling around the body, Qi would pulse out from the Dantian and wave towards all his roots before coming back.
It was like the waves of the sea, out and back in again.
It was breathtaking.
A whole new method of cultivation entirely!
Not to mention the benefits! Because every piece of his body was being combed by extremely pure Space Qi, his blood and flesh were being constantly nourished. His entire body and soul was being strengthened from the inside out.
If the Heavenly Immortal Emperor saw this, he would go crazy and try to steal it.
There was no way, this method was too strong!
Every pore on Jin Wu's body sucked in Qi like a whale from the outside world. It would travel through his pores to his Dantian and transform into pure Space Qi before the other elements were exhaled from his mouth and nose.
It was environmentally friendly too!
Mainly because the Qi that was exhaled was extremely pure and filled with Elements that Jin Wu didn't need. He was basically a walking air purifier. The effects were obvious. In the Half year that the three spent on Hidden Sword Peak, the peak seemed to have been filled with life, even the Qi in the air was much more pure than before.
As the old farming saying went 'You give the land and the land gives back.' This approach to Cultivation was not the norm, because most cultivators took from their surroundings. They took from the land and sky, absorbing all the Qi around them, effectively exhausting the World's Qi.
But with Jin Wu's method, this was unnecessary. Plus, since they were cultivating different methods, the missing Space Qi was filled by Long Zi and the missing Time Qi was filled by Jin Wu.
As for Mu Yu, she only took in Pure Qi without any elements since she was cultivating a Weapon. All the Qi that she refined was exhaled even purer than before! This was nourishing the world!
Although the effects as of right now were only a better environment on Hidden Peak, if more and more people cultivated this way, it would lead to a purer world for everyone! In the future, should everyone cultivate like this, everyone would become a cultivator, everyone would be born with spirit roots.
Jin Wu was even speculating that this kind of cultivation had hidden benefits. Something along the lines of easier tribulations and better luck. Though he couldn't be sure. Nobody had done this before, even Long Zi had never heard of it and he was the Hidden Peak resident Immortal!
If he didn't know, then Jin Wu didn't know.
As for the Foundation Building realm…
Well, it was a bit more special.
Foundation Building was obviously building a foundation for future cultivation within the body. Essentially, a normal cultivation would turn their Spirit Roots into thick pillars in the Dantian which strengthened their bodies and Qi considerably.
But that was it for them. It wasn't complicated.
For Jin Wu, Mu Yu, and Long Zi, this process was arguably the most important step and the most complicated out of all!
In essence. What they had to do was transform all the roots in their entire body. Not into pillars or whatever, but directly incorporate them into their bones. Like vines growing on an old house.
All their bones needed the roots to be covered and even merged together. This was crucial for the next step in the Golden Core which would transform the bones completely.
But this was only the first step!
At the same time, they needed to connect their heart veins to the root system before using those arteries to invade the rest of the body. Basically, the foundation building they needed to do was transform the blood in their entire body. It needed to carry Qi like the roots while also producing new blood cells that had this function from the Bone marrow.
When they were finished transforming everything, then, and only then, could they finish the Foundation Establishment process and create pillars.
But how could these pillars be normal?
Nono, these pillars were very difficult to create. You see, the pillars that had to create were not only in the Dantian, but everywhere in the body. 9 Pillars in the Dantain, consisting of 9 segments, inscribed with roots.
Then transform the bones into Pillars themselves.
Much like the mad man from Toriko, each bone would have to transform into spine-like segments, making them that much stronger.
This was a Life Level transition!
Not some random upgrade, this was stepping on a new evolutionary road for human beings.
Basically this realm was key to the next step in their Cultivation Journey. Jin Wu mapped everything out, but the process was extremely painful because of the changing bones, but this way, the amount of Bone Marrow in their bodies would sky rocket! This gave them extraordinary healing abilities in addition to the Divine Ability granted by the Cultivation Methods.
Jin Wu closed the panel and sighed, it was going to be a long road…
He turned to his side to see Mu Yu looking out into the distance. He paused and smiled slightly, at least he had someone next to him on the way… She turned to him suddenly and they locked eyes before turning away.
Jin Wu scratched his cheek and smiled slightly as Mu Yu played with her hair. Long Zi looked at them before snorting in amusement, shaking his head.
Terry jumped over and waved his legs, squeaking. Jin Wu recovered and picked Terry up, laughing while Mu Yu glared at him, Jin Wu pushed Terry towards her and she jumped away, grinding her teeth, "Clint! I swear to god! I'll beat you to death, I mean it! Get that thing away from me!"
Jin Wu laughed and ran after her, holding out Terry, laughing "Put it in reverse, Terr!" Mu Yu shrieked and ran away as Jin Wu chased her happily, ignoring the disdainful gazes of everyone else.
A few days later
The ship flew over to a big city, stopping just a before a huge barrier as a voice was heard in the sky, "Halt. Lower your Sky Ship, flying is prohibited in Red Cloud city." The Elder in charge of the expedition nodded and replied, "Understood, Mr. Lin!" as the ship slowly came down to the ground in a designated area.
Jin Wu and Mu Yu looked around in excitement, ready to raise hell in the town. Long Zi looked at the duo as they jumped on the spot, cheering. His lips twitched and he shook his head, whispering "Be careful, Juniors… That voice was a Nascent Soul Cultivator."
Jin Wu paused and asked "Better than that old fart?" Long Zi's eyes twitched and he nodded. Jin Wu pouted and looked at Mu Yu, who waved and snorted, "There are like 9 Nascent Soul farts in my clan, no big deal."
Jin Wu and Long Zi looked at each other, sighing sadly.
What kind of family background is this?!
Mu Yu flicked her hair, laughing "Hmph! Peasants, kneel before your Queen!" Jin Wu turned around and 'accidently' smacked the back of her head, nailing her into the deck of the ship face first as he looked at the city thoughtfully, "Bro, this city is pretty nice. Unfortunately compared to Golden Willow City, it's just trash…"
He sighed and the Guards, who were in charge of taking them to the city, all glared at Jin Wu angrily. Long Zi smiled slightly, "It's true." Jin Wu raised his nose proudly, looking at the guards as he said, "You have no infrastructure here, what are you glaring at? What to teach me a lesson for my elders? Hm? Look at your shitty iron armor, what is this? The middle ages? Get outta here."
The Guards snorted coldly and Mu Yu jumped up, kicking Jin Wu in the face, sending him flying across the sky, being caught by a City Guard.
Jin Wu, Mu Yu, and Long Zi froze.
Jin Wu chuckled, rubbing his palms, "Brother, haha… What did I just say? Forget about it, I'm actually blind." The guard who was about to say 'You haven't seen Mt. Tai' choked on his words and glared at Jin Wu, shaking him with a single arm.
Jin Wu's eyes turned to spirals as he said quickly, "Okay, okay! Elder, help me!" The Elder gathered the rest of the ship and was looking at his phone, not in the same world at all.
You know, he recently spoke to a potential Dao Companion online, where did he have time to sort out Jin Wu's things?
As for the rest of the disciples, they sneered at Jin Wu.
Only one cold looking fairy girl stepped out and bowed slightly, "Pardon us, Senior. This junior brother is from the Heaven Sword Sect for the Sect Competition. He means no harm."
Jin Wu looked at the girl and scratched his head, he had never even seen this girl before! He suddenly gasped, "I'm so handsome!?" The girl's lips twitched and Long Zi held his face in embarrassment, Mu Yu frowned and glanced at the girl dangerously.
The Girl got a chill and looked around to see Mu Yu looking up at the sky, whistling.
Jin Wu forgot about his wild charms that can attract fairies from the moon, turning to the Guards as he said "Hey, hey, hey. I can show you something cool if you let me go." The Guards looked at him and the one holding him said "Apologize."
Jin Wu paused then sighed and hung like a rag from the guard's fist, "Just kill me then. Apologize for telling the truth? What is this? 1984? No thanks." The Guard grinded his teeth and the other guards shouted, "Beat this brat, Captain! Yeah! Beat his ass! Show him what Mt Tai is!"
The Captain looked at one guard and sighed, "Are you still taking your medicine Lou Rou?" Lou Rou, who had shouted 'beat his ass', scratched his head and sighed, "No money, Boss…"
Long Zi walked up and grabbed Lou Rou's wrist with two fingers.
The Guards jumped up and pointed their spears at Long Zi, who smiled at Lou Rou, "What a strange illness. Do you feel very hot at night? Extremely restless, can't sleep?"
Lou Rou was stunned and nodded subconsciously.
The Captain held Jin Wu and looked at Long Zi suspiciously as Jin Wu whispered, "Yo, Guard bro, Bro Long is a legendary Alchemist. Your buddy is 100% cured in his hands." The Captain glared at Jin Wu, saying coldly "You shut up, boy! If he was so great, why hasn't he cured you yet?!"
Jin Wu sighed and looked up at the sky at a 45 degree angle, replying "You can't cure what I have. It's called Invincible-in-all-aspects Syndrome. It's a blessing and a curse I'm afraid." as he held his hands behind his back, sighing with vicissitudes.
The Captain's lips twitched along with everyone else who heard him.
Mu Yu pulled out a massive cleaver and laughed, standing near Jin Wu suddenly, "What an idiot. I think you have a severe case of Otaku Syndrome along with a handful of 8th grader syndrome." Jin Wu glared at her and was like a rabid dog, swinging from the captain's hand, "Sarah! I swear to god, I will beat you to death!" Mu Yu swayed on the spot, sneering "What are you gonna do? Come on! I'm waiting!"
She stretched her face over, pointing at it with a free hand, "Come on, hit me if you can! Hahaha!" Jin Wu reached over but he couldn't quite make it as the Captain held him. Seeing no other options, Jin Wu frowned, "You leave me no choice…" before turning around and patting the Captain's arm, "Boss, beat this woman."
The Captain was dumbfounded and really regretted waking up this morning. If he knew he would meet a group of lunatics, he would rather stay home with his sweet and lovable wife.
Mu Yu raised the cleaver and grinned, "Wanna go?" the Captain looked at Mu Yu and frowned as the girl walked over, saying slowly "Slow! Junior Sister, we are here to compete, not cause a commotion. We must be courteous as guests."
Mu Yu glared at her and seethed, "Do you want to get Bifurcated, wench?!" The girl was stunned and looked at her speechlessly, I'm trying to help you all here! Hello??
Long Zi patted Lou Rou's shoulder and smiled, nodding "Just go according to the prescription I gave you and within three days, you'll be completely cured." Lou Rou trembled and held a piece of paper with excitement, kneeling on one knee, "Thank you, Master! Thank you!"
He got up and hugged another guard, crying bitterly.
Long Zi shook his head and turned around to see Mu Yu squabbling with another Disciple, threatening to chop her in half.
He walked over and paused, turning to see the Captain and Jin Wu watching in silence. Long Zi walked over and asked, "What happened?" Jin Wu sighed, "My charms are too great, I'm afraid." Long Zi's lips twitched and the Captain looked at Long Zi, gritting his teeth "Tell this bastard to let go!"
Long Zi was stunned and looked at Jin Wu holding the captain's arm as his palm was open, not holding him anymore. Jin Wu snorted and said "Are you joking? This is a citizen's arrest! Listen, either you compensate me or I'm taking you to court. I've accumulated severe mental stress from your thorough shaking. Not only that but I suspect my brain has been damaged permanently, I could probably have a concussion or likely die in my sleep tonight."
The Captain was dumbfounded and really regretted coming out today. No wonder his wife said she had a bad feeling!
There's maniacs outside!
Long Zi pinched the bridge of his nose, sighing as he pressed his palm out towards Mu Yu, who was about to cut the poor girl in half. Mu Yu suddenly slowed down as Long Zi said firmly "Alright, everyone. We can relax now."
He looked at Jin Wu, who let go of the Captain in slow motion, slowly falling to the ground. The Captain was terrified and looked at Long Zi in shock, "What the hell!?"
Jin Wu looked at Long Zi slowly, his hand coming up into a middle finger. Long Zi's eyes twitched as he canceled the Slow Motion.
Jin Wu planted into the ground, ass first, "OW!" Mu Yu looked at the girl who stared at Long Zi with wide eyes. Mu Yu's eyes shone with a sly light as her lips curled in satisfaction.
That's right, look how amazing Long Zi is! Stop thinking about my Jin Wu!
Mu Yu's smile was a little evil as she imagined this girl longing for Long Zi, only to be rejected in the end. Thinking about the girl growing old, waiting by the door for Long Zi, Mu Yu's mood soared and she giggled to herself.
That's what you get for looking at my Jin Wu, bitch!
Mu Yu walked over to Jin Wu, picking him up as she patted the dust off him, grinning "Poor baby, are you hurt? Need a hospital? Eh? Baby? Baby boy?" Jin Wu glared at her and lunged, "Ahhh! Enough outta you, woman!"
They got into a dustbrawl as Long Zi looked at the Captain, sighing, "Apologies for the commotion, Fellow Daoist." The Captain looked at Long Zi, sighing "Juniors surely surpass seniors! Welcome to Red Cloud City. Follow me."
The Elder looked up from his phone, smiling as he looked at the message "Lao Tu… Come visit me soon~ <3" Elder Tu almost squealed in excitement! You have to know, for guys like him, even seeing a woman his age was rare!
He looked up and asked, "Huh? What happened?"
