After obtaining the note to borrow books from the Restricted Section from Professor McGonagall, Albert realized that he only needed to borrow one more book from the "Forbidden Magic" task on the panel to complete it. Originally, Albert thought he would have to start with Gilderoy Lockhart, but now he could finish it ahead of schedule.

Walking out of the library, Albert saw Fred, George, and Lee Jordan waiting for him in the corridor, their faces full of resentment. As soon as they saw Albert, the three of them rushed over to surround him.

"That wasn't true just now, right?" Fred said anxiously.

"Oh, you mean the detention thing!" Albert looked at Fred and the others, containing his amusement as he shook his head, "I just visited Professor McGonagall's office, and before I left, she asked me to pass on a message to you."

The expressions of Fred, George, and Lee Jordan all soured. They hadn't expected that after the hard work of copying assignments, the outcome would be detention?

"I told you all, you should do your homework properly. Professor McGonagall is very dissatisfied with how you handled your holiday assignments." Albert shook his head repeatedly, adding some sarcastic remarks.

"Merlin's beard, this joke isn't funny at all." Lee Jordan looked like he was about to lose his mind.

"By the way, there's a Potions class tomorrow. You'd better not take any chances, or Snape will definitely be happy to give you detention." Albert reminded the three of them.

"Oh, shut up! We're already unlucky enough." George couldn't help but cry out in misery. With Albert's big mouth, whatever he said would likely come true.

Once again, reality proved that Albert's big mouth was more accurate than a prophecy.

The next day, the three of them did indeed have bad luck. Because they hadn't followed Albert's advice to diligently redo Snape's holiday assignments, this Potions professor announced the unfortunate news just before the class was about to end.

A total of five unfortunate souls were given detention. Among them, Albert's three roommates were included.

George was so startled that he dropped a vial containing swelling solution, causing liquid to splatter everywhere. It burned holes in Fred's robe and boots.

As soon as the swelling solution touched their skin, their skin immediately swelled. Snape angrily scolded George and ordered the two of them to leave the class and go to the hospital wing to find Madam Pomfrey for treatment.

In reality, a simple application of an anti-swelling potion would have been sufficient. Snape had a supply of this potion in his office, but he hadn't given it to Fred and George. It would have only taken a few seconds to resolve the issue. Why bother troubling Madam Pomfrey?

"Write a one-foot essay on swelling solution and anti-swelling potion. Hand it in next class," Snape cruelly announced the homework before dismissing the class.

"So much homework, I feel like I'm going crazy!" Outside the hospital wing, Lee Jordan lamented in agony. He felt like he was being driven insane by the pile of assignments.

"Stop complaining, or Madam Pomfrey might come out and give you trouble." Albert gave Lee Jordan a disdainful glance. He had brought this upon himself; who else could he blame?

As soon as he finished speaking, the door of the hospital wing suddenly opened, startling Lee Jordan.

However, they quickly realized that it was Fred and George who emerged from the hospital wing. Both of them looked low-spirited, probably because they had experienced a series of unfortunate events.

"I feel like I'm being driven crazy by these assignments!"

The three of them pitifully looked at Albert. Their feelings were clear without needing to be expressed.

"You have to do your homework yourselves." Albert, passing by the corner, said without much patience, "Stop fantasizing. The professors are already watching you closely. Don't hold onto any false hope, or I'll be in the same trouble with you."

"What should we do then?"

"Do the homework together during breaks!" Albert thought for a moment and suggested, "When we gather materials and write the essays together, it will be faster."

"Fine, that's our only option."

"I have something else to do. I'm going to see Professor Smith. You guys go to the Great Hall first." Albert handed his backpack to Fred and waved his hand as he turned to another corner.

On his way to the Dark Arts Defense Office, he encountered a familiar face. Albert approached Katrina and greeted her, but Miss MacDougal seemed to have a strange expression in her eyes.

"What's the matter?" Albert raised an eyebrow.

"Nothing!" Katrina hesitated for a moment, unable to resist her curiosity, she asked, "Did you really get together with Isabelle?"

"Pay less attention to gossip news. It affects a person's intelligence and judgment." Albert rolled his eyes, interrupting Katrina's words with annoyance.

"The unicorn wood carving talisman you gave is very beautiful." Katrina's tone was even stranger.

"That was a gift in return. She taught me a useful spell last time." Albert assessed Katrina, his tone equally strange, "By the way, you seem quite concerned about this? Could it be..."

"No, I'm just curious," Katrina immediately responded.

Being aloof, she was definitely being aloof.

Albert found it quite amusing; Isabelle would occasionally act this way too.

"Well, how about I give you a birthday present next time?" Albert winked at Katrina, probing, "What kind of wood carving would you like?"

"Are you also here to see Professor Smith?" Katrina realized that Albert was leading her on and quickly changed the subject.

"Forget it if you don't want anything."

"I hate your tone of coddling." For the first time, Katrina noticed the similarities between Albert and Isabelle.

Despite their similar grades, she always ended up being treated like a child, which she found incredibly annoying.

"Oh, alright. I thought we could become good friends." Albert said with a regretful expression.

"We already are friends now, you said so yourself last year." Katrina reminded him.

"I mean something more?"

"Something more?" Katrina's cheeks reddened slightly, and she looked at Albert guardedly.

"Uh, we were just classmates before, but now we can be good friends." Albert's mischievous side emerged once again.

"What's the difference?" Katrina was puzzled.

"There is a difference." Albert said seriously, making up nonsense, "Classmates and strangers are pretty much the same, but being friends is a step further, where you exchange Christmas and birthday gifts and such."

"Then are you trying to say that being more than friends means being in a romantic relationship?" Katrina chuckled, "You still enjoy fooling around with people so much."

"Fooling around, no way." Albert innocently shrugged, "I'm stating facts."

Katrina snorted and knocked on the wooden door of the Dark Arts Defense Office.

After a moment, Professor Smith opened the door and looked at the two standing outside. His gaze fell on Albert, and he smiled, asking, "Albert, how was the Alchemy Gathering?"

"It was interesting and quite rewarding. I might have found an answer to that matter from last time." Albert thought for a moment and said, "To open the next hidden door, it seems further research into ancient magical texts may be necessary."

"Oh, you already have an answer so quickly?" Professor Smith turned to Katrina and said, "I need to discuss some private matters with Mr. Anderson. Could you wait a moment?"

"Sure." Katrina gave Albert a deep look and then turned to leave the office.

"The method to open the next hidden door might require further study of ancient magical texts." Albert briefly explained his encounter with the runemaster and his own findings from the Alchemy Gathering, as well as his speculations, to Professor Smith after Katrina closed the door behind her.

"I suggest you seek the help of Mr. MacDougall," Albert said.

"Oh." Professor Smith looked at Albert and couldn't help but sigh internally. He was somewhat disappointed.

In fact, he had thought about these matters a long time ago.

However, true wizards who could be called runemasters were quite rare. Mog MacDougall might be one, but their relationship was only ordinary.

Moreover, Professor Smith didn't want too many people to know about the Ravenclaw treasure, which is why he placed his hopes on Albert.

However, the results were obviously deviating from his expectations.

Or rather, this was the initial result.

Albert had already exceeded Professor Smith's initial expectations.

"Albert, I believe you have a talent for runic magic as well," Professor Smith said softly, his meaning clear.

"Professor, I've been studying magic for a relatively short time, and knowledge like this needs time to accumulate." Albert sighed lightly, giving himself a look of helplessness.

"Keep up the good work. I believe you'll become a runemaster like Mr. MacDougall." Professor Smith encouraged.

"Katrina seems to be looking for you. I'll leave now." He gave a slight bow to Professor Smith, saying, "Give me a few years, and I believe I can help you open that hidden door, Professor."

"Then I'll count on you when the time comes." Professor Smith smiled.
