"Good afternoon, Professor Slughorn."

Albert lightly knocked on the door of the Dark Arts Defense Office and, upon receiving permission, pushed the door open. His gaze fell on Professor Slughorn, who was sitting on the sofa reading a book. He didn't forget to express his gratitude for last night's events. "Thank you for saving the three of us, Professor Slughorn."

"You're welcome." Professor Slughorn smiled as he looked at Albert. "I think even if I hadn't gone, you would have found a way to get the Weasley brothers out of the Forbidden Forest."

Albert didn't respond. He did have a way to get Fred and George out of the forest, but he wouldn't admit that he had the ability.

After all, he was just a first-year student and couldn't possibly use a Disillusionment Charm.

"Please have a seat. What would you like to drink?" Professor Slughorn pointed at the books on the table and said with emotion, "Mauger has already had the books printed. He's as efficient as ever. Take a look at the fruits of your labor during this period!"

"You mean Mr. MacDougal has already published the book?" Albert sat down across from Professor Slughorn, picked up the book on the table, and ran his fingers lightly over the gilded letters on the cover: "Advanced Magical Linguistics."

Indeed, it was advanced magical linguistics, and the title was straightforward.

"There's a surprise on the first page!" Professor Slughorn said mysteriously, winking at Albert.

"A surprise?" Albert was a bit puzzled and gave Professor Slughorn a skeptical look before flipping open the first page of the book.

There was a sentence written on it:

"Dedicated to the youngest Grand Master of Magical Linguistics. Thanks for helping me complete the writing of Advanced Magical Linguistics. - Mauger MacDougal"

Albert was stunned. He certainly knew who the Grand Master of Magical Linguistics referred to, but when did he become... a Grand Master?

"Actually, Mauger thought about putting your name on it too. However, he later realized that with your abilities, you didn't need his help to become famous. And for you, it's a bit too early to become famous," Professor Slughorn said, closing the book and looking at Albert. "This book is his gift to you."

"I remember that Advanced Magical Linguistics hasn't been fully written yet, right? Oh, I see." Albert flipped to the last page and understood what was going on. Mr. MacDougal had divided the book into three parts.

"In a while, this book will be on sale in bookstores. I don't think many people will buy it," Professor Slughorn said with a beaming smile. "Mauger even made a bet with me about this. He said he could sell a hundred copies."

Albert glanced at the price of the book: 5 Galleons.

In terms of the price of a book, it wasn't very expensive, but how many people would study this stuff?

They couldn't even understand it, let alone buy it.

Moreover, the population of British wizards was a big problem. If it couldn't be translated into other languages, even selling a hundred copies would be quite an achievement for Mr. MacDougal.

"By the way, I have something for you." Professor Slughorn placed a glass bottle in front of Albert. "Acromantula venom. When I was tracking your footsteps, I found a dead Acromantula that you killed and took the opportunity to collect some venom."

"For me?" Albert noticed that the Acromantula venom had been specially treated and the glass bottle had a freezing charm on it.

"Yes, it's your spoils of war."

Speaking of which, Professor Slughorn also felt quite emotional. "But I never expected that there would be so many Acromantulas in the Forbidden Forest, let alone that you would defeat them."

In fact, the bottle of venom in front of Albert was obtained from the first Acromantula he had defeated. That unlucky creature was eventually killed by a barrage of spells from Albert.

After Professor Slughorn discovered that there were still a bunch of Acromantulas in the Forbidden Forest, he didn't continue to collect venom, as he was in a hurry to find people.

"Professor, can you..." Albert hesitated for a moment and said, "...help me dispose of it? It's not really useful for me to have this thing."

"I already knew you would say that!" Professor Slughorn nodded approvingly. "That's a wise choice. Acromantula venom is not easy to preserve, and this liquid is extremely valuable. This bottle... is probably worth 50 Galleons. Of course, it might be even higher on the black market."

"Thank you, then!" Albert said. He was well aware that carrying around this stuff wasn't really useful, so it would be more practical to exchange it for Galleons.

If one day there is a real need for Acromantula venom, just take a trip to the Forbidden Forest, and there will naturally be some available.

After all, there's an Acromantula breeding ground!

"Here you go." Professor Slughorn handed the prepared Galleons to Albert. In fact, it wasn't difficult to guess Albert's choice from the beginning.

"Thank you, Professor!" Albert expressed his gratitude.

"You're welcome." Professor Slughorn became even more satisfied with Albert. He continued, "There's one more thing."

"What is it?"

"Keep the map of Gryffindor's secret treasure!" Professor Slughorn bluntly exposed Albert's previous lie.

Albert's expression stiffened. He neither admitted nor denied it, but quietly listened to Professor Slughorn's continued words.

"Don't try to enter the Forbidden Forest rashly again. It's still dangerous for you there." Professor Slughorn warned.

"Is there really such a thing as Gryffindor's secret treasure?" Albert curiously asked.

"Legend has it that the four Founders left their own legacies at Hogwarts as gifts to the students," Professor Slughorn said, revealing what he knew. "However, the so-called secret treasure is just a legend. Nobody knows where it is or has found it. Of course, if it were so easily known, it wouldn't be called a secret treasure."

Albert fell silent. He felt that Professor Slughorn might know something.

Every Defense Against the Dark Arts professor who came to teach at Hogwarts had their own goals. Could Professor Slughorn be here to find the so-called secret treasure?

Ravenclaw's secret treasure? Wait... Secret... Treasure... Ravenclaw... Room of Requirement...

It was said that the Room of Requirement was Ravenclaw's creation.

Maybe Ravenclaw's secret treasure was hidden there!

And Professor Slughorn probably knew about it long ago... Albert felt like he might have guessed the so-called truth.

He would have the chance to try it out.

"What are you thinking?" Professor Slughorn interrupted Albert's thoughts.

"I was thinking about where the Acromantulas in the Forbidden Forest came from. The number of them is no joke. Could someone really be raising Acromantulas?" Albert said casually.

"It's highly unlikely." Professor Slughorn stared at Albert and said seriously, "Don't rashly go looking for any secret treasure."

"I value my own life." Albert replied.

"By the way, I heard that you use a wand made of Redwood?" Professor Slughorn suddenly mentioned Albert's wand, leaving him a bit puzzled.

"Yes, Mr. Ollivander said it's a wand that brings good luck." Albert generally replied like this when discussing his Redwood wand with others.

"That's good. Redwood wands are quite good." Professor Slughorn nodded approvingly and felt reassured.

Of course, he also knew that the idea of Redwood wands bringing good luck was purely a gimmick, but wizards who possessed this type of wand were usually prepared individuals who could often turn danger into safety.

Albert Anderson was obviously one such person. It was evident from last night's events that he was able to find the two Weasleys and safely return from the Forbidden Forest. It wasn't just the luck brought by the Redwood wand, but rather the fact that Albert had made a series of preparations from the very beginning.
