"Langford?"
Bryan Berry witnessed his brother's absent-minded attitude when he arrived at the Count's Palace after dragging along his nephew. He noticed the unusual pasty complexion and the faraway look of his brother's eyes. There was no indication of tears welling up. However, he sensed the anxiety.
"How is great-grandfather?" Ian Slav was the first to ask as he observed the subdued atmosphere in the interior of the palace.
"The mage who can perform a forensic examination informed of heart failure to be the cause of grandfather's death." Langford dryly responded as he sipped a glass of wine while he ensconced on the seat similar to the throne chair of the Count.
"Are you sure he died of that cause? With his prowess and mage level, I doubt that is the reason for his death." Bryan Berry frowningly remarked as his tone was between anxiety and anger.
