Scarlet halted in her strides, her face, turning serious as she pondered on what he just said. How come Alpha Lucas knew about Aurora's past? This was bad, she had not been opportuned to talk to Aurora since the announcement ceremony.

"What do you mean, Alpha Lucas?" She asked.

"Miss Aurora is lying to your Alpha, she has a mate." He emphasized and Scarlet felt like throwing a punch at him. She wouldn't be able to defend Aurora because Aurora didn't disclose the name of her mate, but she could faintly remember the name of the pack. Could he be acquainted with Aurora's first mate?

"How do you know that Alpha?" She inquired further.

"Because I am her mate, I abandoned her because of a little misunderstanding. I know I don't deserve to be forgiven, but I am still truly in love with her." He said, revealing the truth.

"You are her mate?!" Shocked, Scarlet raised her voice and repeated.
