Kevin sensed them. His sharp claws immediately extended as he hissed.

But Lawrence covered his eyes and forced his small head to lean in his broad shoulders. A soft 'shhh' came out of his mouth as he patted Kevin to calm down.

But he did not calm down. 

Kevin can hear this person. They were just on the first floor and hurriedly climbed to the second floor using different stairs. They then stood still in that corner, quietly observing Lawrence and Diane. 

A genius idea came to Kevin. Since those two pairs of master pet clowns (Capricorn and Corn) decided to raise the difficulty of this genre, then he should find the clues and present them to the smart protagonist. 

Kevin waited for the right time. Lawrence loosened his hold on him slightly, sensing that Little Snow had calmed down.
