Jane Foster subconsciously wanted to call out to Thor, but she was stopped by a glance from Dr. Erik who was standing beside her. Yihu bought several hamburgers and looked at Thor's satisfied face as he said softly, "You must be wanting to find Mjolnir, right?"
"Do you know where it is?" Thor looked at Yihu with surprise and nodded with a smile. He whispered, "Then I'll go say goodbye to Jane and the others."
"Go ahead, I'll wait here for you."
Yihu leaned against the railing by the road and watched as Thor walked away. Ten minutes later, Thor returned to the railing with a smile on his face. He looked around and then whispered, "How do we get there? Do we ride horses or take one of your iron boxes?"
Yihu shook his head and whispered, "Neither! We'll fly over there!"
As soon as he finished speaking, Yihu used his psychic powers to lift both of them up and flew towards the distance. Jane , who had just come out of the restaurant, covered her mouth in astonishment. She couldn't believe that the seemingly gentle Yi hu was a mutant.
A car slowly passed by the three of them, and Jane Foster recognized the familiar equipment on it. She quickly rushed back to her own lab like an angry cat.
"What are you doing? That's my stuff!"
Jane Foster rushed forward, wanting to snatch her research data. Coulson slowly walked out of the crowd with a smile on his face and said, "We are agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..."
"What's the use of saying that?" Jane Foster ignored Coulson's words and tried to snatch the item from his hand. Dr. Erik, who was standing beside her, quickly hugged Jane Foster and whispered, "Don't do this, Jane! The situation is more serious than you think!"
After the other party left, Dr. Erik and the other three sat on the platform on the second floor. Jane Foster said somewhat annoyed, "Who are they?"
Dr. Erik hesitated for a second and whispered, "I know a scientist who researches gamma rays. After S.H.I.E.L.D found him, I never heard from him again..."
"They can't do this. I'm going to get everything back!" Jane Foster looked at Dr. Erik with a serious expression Thor's figure appeared in her mind, and she wanted to go to the crater for help. The image of Thor appeared in her mind. If reasoning didn't work, she would use her power to make the other party sit down and listen to her.
Jane Foster believed that Yi Hu should be able to help her get her things back, for Thor's sake. Half an hour later, Jane Foster drove the car to the temporary base outside the crater and was stopped by six submachine guns pointing at her, ordering her to pull over.
Seeing the familiar figure on the screen, Coulson immediately recognized the person's identity. Before he could speak, Thor shouted loudly, "Hey, that's my friend! You can't treat her like this!"
Upon learning the other party's identity, Coulson was willing to do a favor. Jane Foster held a notebook and a USB drive containing stored data tightly and followed the three of them to the centre of the crater. Thor excitedly came to the centre of the pothole and held the hammer handle with one hand. He looked back at Jane Foster with a confident smile on his lips. The smile gradually disappeared in the next second. Thor also changed from one hand to two hands. He looked up to the sky and roared angrily, "No! Father! You can't do this to me!"
Coulson lightly pushed Yihu's shoulder and whispered, "Didn't you say he was some kind of thunder god? Why didn't he lift that hammer?"
Yi glanced at Coulson sideways and said sarcastically, "It's better not to meddle in worldly matters. It won't do you any good."
Coulson blinked, not understanding Yihu's meaning. What do worldly matters have to do with the hammer of the thunder god?
After Thor vented his emotions, he sat on the ground with a dejected expression. Yihu slowly walked to the side of Mjolnir, and his psychic powers surged, but the hammer remained unaffected.
Yihu gently patted Thor's shoulder and whispered, "You should think about what you did wrong. No father would abandon their child, even if they have some..."
Yihu swallowed the word "issues" as he looked at Thor's foolishness. After all, once Thor regained his powers, Yihu might not be able to defeat him. Thor frowned slightly upon hearing Yihu's words, not believing that he had done anything wrong.
"A king must not only have an iron fist but also a compassionate heart to ensure the stability of the kingdom. Wars only bring hatred and destruction!"
Yihu left these words behind and turned to walk towards his residence. His gaze was fixed on the world options in front of him. This statement was also meant for himself. Yihu didn't want to destroy the world, but the appearance of Thor filled him with a sense of fear. Thinking of Thanos, who collected the Infinity Stones, Dormammu, who sought to consume the Earth, and the planet-devouring Galactus from the Fantastic Four, Yihu felt as if he were in an icy abyss.
To become stronger, one could only continue destroying the world and absorbing its energy to enhance oneself. After all, superheroes couldn't save the world every time, and even if the world were reset, it was uncertain whether Yihu, as an unknown factor, could continue to exist.
"I'm sorry..." Yihu sat on the bed and muttered softly. His gaze gradually became determined. He didn't want to entrust his life to those superheroes.
After firmly making up his mind, Yihu felt considerably more relaxed. He decided to start improving his strength after the Thor storyline concluded. Thor sat by Mjolnir all night, contemplating, and a faint feeling emerged within him.
Just then, a figure suddenly appeared before him. Thor looked up at the impeccably dressed man and whispered, "Loki? What are you doing here?"
"Father is dead..." Loki's face revealed a tinge of sadness as he spoke heavily, "Your exile, coupled with the threat of war, crushed him..."
Thor's eyes flickered with surprise, anger, and shame, ultimately turning into deep self-reproach. Loki looked at the sorrowful Thor and a hint of pity flashed in his eyes. In a low voice, he said, "The burden of the throne now falls on my shoulders..."
Thor raised his head and looked at the hesitant Loki, saying anxiously, "Can I go back home?"
"Our truce with Jotunheim is based on your exile..." Loki showed a hint of distress. Thor continued pleading, "Maybe we can find a way... I want to see Father..."
Loki shook his head and said softly, "Mother doesn't want you to return either... I came here to bid farewell, brother..." Seeing Thor's disappointment and self-blame, Loki hesitated for a second and whispered, "I'm truly sorry..."
Images flashed through Thor's mind of himself leading people to provoke Jotunheim and the consequences of his actions. A bitter smile formed on his lips as he whispered, "No... I should be the one apologizing... Thank you for coming to see me!"
"Farewell, brother."
"Goodbye..."
Watching the figure slowly disappear, Thor stood up unsteadily and walked towards the RV on the outskirts of the crater. The loss of his loved ones made him understand the cruelty of war, and he gained a deeper understanding of Yihu's earlier words.
Now, he deeply regretted his past decisions. After Thor's
figure vanished, Loki appeared once again in the deep pit, reaching out to grasp the hammer's handle. Veins bulged on his face, but a few seconds later, with a hint of disappointment, Loki released his grip and disappeared into the pit.
