Asis felt his heart ache seeing the tears that gathered in her eyes, he lifted his hands and rubbed her gently.
"I did not abandon you silly, you were my only friend apart from the clingy fellow that followed me that day." Asis explained truthfully, "I had to go to school like my father said, that was why I left without telling you anything, it was because by the next day I was on my way to school." Asis laughed making Adara's ears go all red embarrassed that what she had been grieving over for the past few years was all in her head and the person in question never intended anything like that.
Adara joined Asis laughter and the two of them just sat down by the pond laughing their hearts out.
Somewhere in between the trees was Sean, he was afraid that Asis might not be able to handle the situation well enough and decided to follow him just Incase there was any emergency.
