Amelia, after making sure to complete all the requests that she had in her email finally stood up from her bed to stretch her back and maybe get something to eat.
To Amelia surprise, the day was already gone as the sky had started to darken, she had unknowingly spent the whole day staring at her computer screen but at least it was worth it for the money she made.
Sighing with tiredness laced in her voice, Amelia opened the door to see whether she could scavenge the Kitchen for something to eat.
On getting downstairs, Amelia saw the Johnsons in the sitting room, they all looked like a normal peaceful family, Amelia felt her heart hurt for bit, instantly Amelia knew that it was Amalia's feelings, the poor thing, even her though she was gone her body still felt the pain of being rejected by her family.
Amalia was a rule breaker and did things just to get the attention of Mr and Mrs Johnson but all she got was their disdain in return and it helped Marcy the more in tainting her image.
Amelia sighed feeling sorry for the girl, she just wanted her parents love but could not get any till her death.
"You finally decided to get out of your room." Mrs Johnson snorted at Amelia's approaching figure.
"Sister, I came for you severally but you did not answer the door, I was worried for you, I hope you are alright?" Marcy asked with a worried tone as she looked at Amelia too.
Marcy was still worried about the man's voice she heard in Amelia's room, although Marcy did not really care about Amelia, all she wanted was to use that man as the tool to finally break Amelia's relationship with the Mr and Mrs Johnson.
"Amalia, you are becoming more and more unruly than before you went to the countryside, have you not learnt your lesson or do you want to go back to the countryside?" Mr Johnson asked coldly holding a newspaper in his hands not bothering to look at Amelia at all.
Hearing what Mr Johnson said, Marcy realised a smirk, 'She is giving herself a hard time like always.' Marcy sneered within herself.
"I would move out of the house if it reduces your problems." Amelia shrugged In response then headed straight to the kitchen not minding the surprised look that was casted on her by the Johnsons.
Amalia was always known for her roughness and strong headed behaviour, so on a normal note after Mr Johnson said that, she would either misbehave with them and throw unnecessary tantrums but this time around it was not Amalia in control but Amelia, things were going to change.
Reaching the kitchen, none of the servants bothered to pay respects to Amelia or greet her at all, as to them she was in a lower position than anyone in that house, so what was the use of greeting a useless person they thought.
Not wanting to be bothered by them, Amelia grabbed some ingredients and started preparing them as she wanted to cook her own meal.
While Amelia was cutting up the vegetable, she felt an eerie feeling at her back like someone was watching her with a murder intent.
Goosebumps appeared on her skin as she tried to maintain her cool still cutting the vegetable into the size she desired, maybe it was the devil again, Amelia wondered, but was still scared.
Amelia hands that held the knife was weak and the grip was not as strong as before, the gaze felt closer and closer to her.
Amelia chanted in her head to remain calm, trying to strengthen her grip on the knife so as to strike when the need is necessary.
Although, Amelia had that in her mind, her body betrayed her, her legs felt jelly and she could not control the fear that brimmed in her heart, the cuts on the vegetable were no longer precise and accurate neither was it sharp, that gaze alone was enough to weaken her to this extent.
After taking a deep breath, Amelia decided to turn back to see what was giving her the death looks.
Amelia gripped the Kitchen counter as she slowly turned afraid of what she might see in the end, but it was better than not knowing the face of your murderer, 'No I am not dying this time around, I am yet to get my revenge.' Amelia thought closing eyes and tightening her grip on the knife before opening them back to see Marcy and a handsome looking guy at the kitchen entrance.
"Sister, what is wrong you look pale?" Marcy asked with her usual shrill voice and fake concern that made Amelia more agitated.
Of course she was pale, she just faced a huge scare right now why would she not be pale.
Deciding to ignore her, Amelia turned to cast a glance at the guy beside Marcy.
This guy, his face was vague in Amalia's memory but they were quite close at that time.
The last time Amalia saw the guy before her was before she left to the countryside, although she remembered him, Amelia just had one single problem, Amalia's memory did not have his name.
The distinct feature in the guy was his silver hair that was scattered on his head making it look like he just woke up from a very deep slumber, his half dropped eyes that showcases his laziness and lack of care for everything and his blue eyes, all in all the guy looked like a college bad boy that girls would tear each others hair to have but what was he doing here.
"Your friend said he wanted to see you, so, I let him in if you do not mind." Marcy said sweetly while looking at the silver haired guy.
Amelia almost gagged as she saw the pooling love that filled Marcy eyes, could she just be contented with what she has for once and stay off of her stuff.
Knowing it was his cue as Marcy introduced him, the silver haired guy realised a bright smile that contracted his cold image.
"Seeing the way you are staring at me, you must have forgotten my name again, anyways I am Silva."He said with a huge smile plastered on his face.
Who do you think owned that gaze?
