บท 124: 124 Investigate A Woman

With Mia and Ross in my head, when I arrived at the supermarket, I chose the simplest ingredients for breakfast, and then I walked back to the hotel with my shopping bag.

The sound of running water came from the bathroom, and I knew that Daley was taking a shower. So I hurried to the kitchen with my bag and started preparing breakfast. As I was frying the eggs, a gentle hand reached out from behind me and hugged my waist.

“Why didn't I see you when I woke up?” Said Daley in a lazy voice. “Where's my wife this morning?”

I snapped out of my thoughts. “I went to the supermarket to get something for your breakfast.”

“Wow, let me guess what you're making for me?” Daley said. “French or English?”

“Just a regular breakfast.” I flipped the eggs into the pan. “Egg sandwich and fried ham.”

“I can't wait.” Daley kissed me on the cheek. “But I'd rather eat you.”

“Breakfast will be ready in five minutes,” I said, putting the fried eggs on the plate. “Now sit at the table and wait.”
