Massive purple tentacles came out of the water, attaching to the ship. Mo Huan and I went to the ship's upper deck to see what it was, and we were both scared to death.

The creature was a gigantic octopus, like a Kraken. Its power was beyond of Foundation's Establishment. I did not know if it was the Golden Core or the Nascent Soul stage. It was hard to see the difference due to how weaker we were.

Despite dealing with the pirates, with other spiritual beasts who tried to attack our ship, I was not confident in dealing with that one. It was a power above mine, and everyone inside the ship knew we did not stand a chance against that creature.

I was their only hope, but even I couldn't face that beast. Mo Huan was beside me, and I took the chance to whisper in his ear, "We need to take advantage during the chaos and flee."
