Mark stared intently at the scene before him. This was something he had never encountered.

Slowly, a smirk spread across his face, and then that smirk turned into bitter laughter.

"It's all just a thrilling spectacle, isn't it?!" Mark said to himself, gazing at the night sky where the Upper Society satellites were surely recording this battle of ideals.

Mark's cruel grin lingered as he looked down at Hobe and the other survivors.

"Amusing! Quite amusing! You? Survivors daring to challenge me, a slayer knight?" Mark's laughter subsided, replaced by a sharp, threatening glare. "Your dreams are too beautiful."

Mark surveyed Hobe and his band of survivors, then glanced at his helpless teammates while the trio of Alicia watched the spectacle with keen interest.
