บท 159: Stealing her breath away

"The inn is not a small place. It will be difficult to find my father. I don't wish to go there," Fengming refused to go back to the inn. "We should head to the home," he asserted. 

"Are you sure?" Yu Chen inquired. 

"I am," Fengming replied and walked ahead with them along with his horse. Cao Jun and Yu Chen turned quiet as they silently walked along with him. 

Fengming recalled how his father would leave in the evening on the pretense of an important work. He didn't do it just today but a lot of times. Only, Fengming could never keep his attention on this. He also pondered why Xianwu never mentioned anything about it to him. He was a frequent goer to the inn and must have watched Jin Liang in the inn. 

'Perhaps, Father never encountered Xianwu,' he thought. Fengming felt the person he had always idealized if turned out to be immoral and a cheater, then he wouldn't be able to see his father with the same eyes as before.
