บท 21: ISLA AND ADAM

"She was struggling to keep everything hard for the both of you. She wanted to ensure you were as strong as her and even stronger."

It wasn't because she was talented; it was to make Isla do her best. Both of them had always been living on the edge of their potential and widening it further.

For Ava, the challenge was to make sure they could progress effectively together, and for Isla, to make sure she could keep up with Ava's lead.

She never knew that Ava had always struggled to be the lead.

"She said that one time..." Adam sighed.

[I am the elder sister. Therefore, it is my duty to not only bolster my own strength but to empower my Isla to defend herself.]

[And in doing so, I do want to look cool. Don't you think it is imperative that I remain a figure of admiration in her eyes?]

"She's too much," Isla chuckled.
