The battle under the sea may be being won by the Necrons, but the battle in the sky continues. The flying vehicles of the Orks and Necrons exchanged fire through the air.
A Dakkajet fired its various weapons while chasing a Night Scythe, the Night Scythe performed several evasive maneuvers, its pilot simulating billions of strategies in a few seconds to deal with its pursuer, with its strategy ready the Night Scythe began its counterattack.
The Night Scythe reduced its speed allowing the Dakkajet to approach, the ork pilot thinking he had the advantage, flew faster and fired all his weapons, the Night Scythe dodged with methodical precision while accelerating slightly urging the ork to chase him.
Suddenly the Night Scythe plunged into an almost ninety degree turn, the pilot's lack of blood and organs allowing him to perform such a maneuver, the ork not wanting to let his enemy escape, performed a looping and descended behind the Night Scythe.
The ork fired all its weapons, but the Night Scythe dodged most of the shots by turning on its axis as it descended towards the ocean, the ork piloting the Dakkajet, irritated by not being able to reach its target, raised the left end of the stick of his jet , revealing a red button.
Pressing the button with a war cry, several rockets were launched from the Dakkajet and chased the Necron aircraft, the Night Scythe flew faster, the rockets exploding a few meters away until finally the Night Scythe appeared to have been hit a few meters from the water.
As the smoke from the explosion cleared, the ork pulled his stick back with all his might to stop his jet from hitting the water, the ork flew above the sea, the proximity creating ripples in the water, the ork flashed a smile of victory thinking that his enemy was blown to pieces, but due to his celebration the ork did not notice the dark stain below the water that followed his jet.
With a jet of water the stain revealed itself to be the Night Scythe, the Necrons aircraft fired its weapons at the Dakkajet, when the ork pilot realized what was happening, his jet was already on fire, the Dakkajet turned into a ball of fire and metal that ended up colliding with the side of an ork ship, sinking it.
The Night Scythe's strategy was successfully executed, now he must look for a new enemy to eliminate, while flying a Blitza-Bommer passed by his side going in the opposite direction and behind that Blitza-Bommer there was another Night Scythe.
The Blitza-Bommer was flying towards the tomb, its pilot planned to use the various explosives of his aircraft to damage the tomb and the Night Scythe chasing him tried to prevent this, but the Night Scythe was having difficulties due to the Grot in the back seat, which prevented from aiming properly due to being targeted by several projectiles.
The Grot used the rear seat-mounted machine gun to keep the Night Scythe at bay, the Night Scythe fired while dodging fire, but couldn't land a clear shot, eventually the Night Scythe was hit in a critical spot, the machine gun bullets landed hitting the pilot, the Night Scythe fell towards the sea, but before he could hit it the Night Scythe disappeared in a green light, being teleported back to the tomb for repairs.
Grot laughed when he managed to take down his pursuer, but panicked when the plane he was on began to fall, looking to the side Grot saw that the right wing of the plane disappeared, Grot noticed that green rays passed through the plane as he fell, these beams belonged to the Sentry Pylon that shot its Death Ray trying to knock down the Blitza-Bommer.
To Grot's despair the Blitza-Bommer fell faster, this was due to the ork piloting the Blitza-Bommer having pushed the stick forward, now performing a suicide attack, while falling towards the tomb the ork pressed a big red button on the his plane's dashboard, this button launched all the bombs and missiles the Blitza-Bommer had.
Eventually the Blitza-Bommer was hit in full disintegrating it mostly, but the bombs and missiles kept falling and hitting their target, with a big explosion the Sentinel Pestle was destroyed, the mechanisms of the tomb collected the Pestle for repairs and closed the opening where the Pestle was.
But this event was only a small part of the war that was taking place in the sky, skirmishes between orks and necrons set the air on fire, rays, lasers, bullets and missiles cut the horizon, ships fired their cannons in an attempt to take down the necrons, only to be sunk, the battle was at a stalemate, but seemed to be moving in favor of the necrons.
Gol D. Loota's ship
Loota watched the battle, his ork instincts screaming for him to join in, but the enemy leader didn't show up, Loota wasn't as stupid as his Boyz, an ork didn't become a Warboss without a modicum of intelligence, he knew that the boss of the Tin Men it was somewhere in the big building in front of him, and if things continue as they are the tin men would eventually win, the problem was how to get into the building, the material was tough, their cannons didn't have enough power to open a hole at distance and any ship that tried to approach it was sunk by the cannons that came out of several openings in the tomb.
The lack of return from the orks that dug the tunnels meant they were all dead and the green lights that glowed in the water served as a warning for the advancing Tin Men, if Loota was to win this fight, he would need more Dakka.
"CRAAA! Message from Zazzog!" The parrot squig returned and it carried another message tied to its leg, Loota unrolled the message and read its contents.
"Everyth'n iz ready boss!"
— Zazzog
Loota smiled as he read the contents of the message.
"KALL BACK OUR BOYZ! WE HAVE A SURPRISE FOR 'DA TIN MAN!" Loota screamed.
The message was passed from ork to ork, the airships came out of their skirmishes and returned to the island, the ships turned around, orks did not retreat without reason, that was reason for anyone who faces the orks to worry.
The next day.
Tomb.
If the silence of the orks before this battle was already worrying me, what's happening now would be a reason for my hair to fall out, that is, if I still had hair, if I wasn't a living dead alien robot skeleton, almost ten feet tall and weighing a ton, I'd be biting my nails right now.
At the moment I was receiving hundreds of reports consisting of thousands of pages, these reports talked about the result of the battle, damage to the tomb, repairs to the tomb and units, status of extermination of the orks that remained under water, how many units are active in the moment and much more.
"My Lord, something approaches the tomb." Haratek said from a screen.
"Show me." I ordered.
All the screens moved away, making room for a large screen that appeared in front of me. This screen showed the north side of the tomb. I could see the night disappearing and the sun rising. At first there was nothing wrong, but I saw several dark contours forming in front of the sun.
These contours grew and increased in number as the minutes passed, I finally managed to discern these contours, they were ships, hundreds of ork ships coming towards the tomb, and further back, surrounded by ships, there was a large warship, the pirate flag of the orks swaying in the wind on top of the pole.
I saw a small light followed by a small cloud of smoke coming out of the front of the warship, for a few seconds nothing happened until…
BOOM!
The whole tomb shook, it wasn't like the other times where the ceiling shook a little and I could barely hear the muffled sound of the explosions, this time they managed to open a hole in the tomb's armor.
No more being defensive! I can't win this war by waiting for the orks to come to me, the longer it takes, the stronger the orks get. How long can I defend myself before the orks send something I can't stop?
"Haratek?"
"Yes, my lord?" Haratek asked.
"I have a special mission for you."
Ork warship, now Gol D. Loota's new ship, The Rabidcrumpah.
"Ere dey kome! Fire all guns! Send our flyaz!" Loota ordered his inferiors.
The orks scurried around the new ships in their fleet, preparing to fire the new weapons and get their planes into the air. The new orks ships were similar to something you would see in a human navy in the 21st century, but with the addition of a pirate theme.
Wood and metal statues adorned the front of the ships, pirate flags were raised at the highest point of each ship, more advanced cannons lined the sides of the ships and greatest of all, the addition of greater offensive capability.
Kannons and KillKannons covered the ships, and in the case of Gol D. Loota's ship, a Supa-Kannon, gigantic cannon mounted on the bow of the ship, the type of weapon you would see used in an artillery division, a weapon that managed to pass through the tomb's armor without approaching.
"Reload 'da supa-kannon!" Loota screamed and the Grots and ork Boyz rushed to reload the big gun.
Meanwhile, Loota watched the hundreds of airships, coming towards his fleet, Night Scythes, Doom Scythes, Doomsday Arks, Ghost Arks and Tomb blades.
All the cannons in the fleet fired towards the aircraft, while Dakkajets and Blitza-Bommers took off from the carrier-like ships, simultaneously, the Necron aircraft executed the meticulously planned strategy by their great Overlord.
The Tomb Blades advanced close to the sea along the sides of the ships, drawing fire from the orks, using their dimensional repulsor engines, gravity and friction had little effect on the Tomb Blades, they constantly changed vectors and altitude, dodging the shots and distracting the orks for as long as possible.
This allowed the Night Scythes and Doom Scythes to advance towards the ships; having only to face the ork aircraft and dodge the fire fired in their direction, the Night Scythes, Doom Scythes performed bombardments, destroying the main Kannons of the ships.
With the Kannons destroyed, the slower airships were able to advance, the Ghost Arks flew above the ships and released their troops, twenty Necron warriors fell on the ships and each group of warriors was led by an Immortal.
The warriors fought against the crew of orks, shots from Gauss Flayers, Gauss Blasters, Shootas and Big Shootas were exchanged by the ships, simultaneously the Phantom Arks offered support, with ten Gauss Flayers on each side the arks flew above the ships reducing their crews to ashes.
When all or most of the crew was eliminated, the Ghost Arks would collect the troops and the Arks of Doom would fire their Doomsday Cannons, reducing the ships to molten goo, this strategy would be repeated as many times as necessary, until the orks finally adapt.
BOOM!
Unfortunately the Necron units weren't advancing at the ideal speed to stop the Supa-Kannon from firing again, the giant projectile hit the tomb again, opening another hole and Loota's ship was extremely armored and covered in firepower, and no troops could approach without being targeted.
Suddenly a green energy flowed through all the units, they were covered by a green barrier that protected them against the fire of the enemy weapons, then rays of green energy jumped from troop to troop and the units started to move faster.

This should help speed up my troops' advance, I need to destroy that cannon at all costs, and I hope Haratek succeeds in his mission.
Outside the tomb.
During the attack on the Ork fleet, three Ghost Chests came out of the southern area of the tomb and circled the battlefield, heading north towards the Rugged Isles; in total these chests carried sixty Necron warriors, two Despoteks and Haratek.
The ghost arks crossed the ocean floor until they reached the island that the orks called home, the arks emerged as they approached the shore of the island and two of the three released their units, Haratek and the troops walked along the beach and split into two groups.
"You will try to destroy the shipyards! You will accompany me to the base of the green wildlings!"
With orders given, a chest carrying a Despotek and warriors submerged again and followed the shore of the island towards the shipyards. The other two chests remained on the beach, awaiting orders from Haratek.
Haratek, accompanied by a Despotek and forty warriors walked deeper into the island, heading towards the vegetation that still remained on the island.
"Do not worry, my lord, I will carry out the mission you entrusted me with. Nothing short of success will be tolerated." Haratek said to himself.
Meanwhile, black clouds covered the sky like a mass of darkness across the entire planet, raindrops fell and rumblings were heard, the months of storm had begun.
