บท 150: After Her

Xia Xin decided to venture up the mountain to see if there were any residents. If she found any, she would ask for something to eat and hopefully get in touch with her television crew.

Hauling her backpack up the steep incline, she stumbled upon a log cabin that gave her an eerie feeling. But with no other options, she had to swallow her reservations and proceed. 

Just as she was about to knock on the door, a whiff of some strange fragrance wafted from the cabin's wooden surface. Xia Xin instinctively felt that the smell was far from benign.

Before she could retreat, she sensed a rush of wind behind her, aimed straight for her head. Terrified, Xia Xin dropped and rolled away. A loud "thud" reverberated through the air—something had struck the door.

Raising her eyes, she found Xu Ping brandishing a stick, while Xu An stood a short distance away, observing her. 

"What do you want?" Xia Xin asked, her voice icy.
