บท 67: Harassment

The house Xia Xin's parents lived in was a small two-bedroom apartment, old and cramped. Sometimes, Xia Xin and her family would still manage to live together in it, but now that she was older, it felt a bit crowded.

Xia Xin wanted to buy a bigger and better house for her parents so that they could all live together as a family. After thinking about that, Xia Xin remembered the sticky note that Jing Mo had left at the door. She messaged him, [Did you arrange for a cleaning lady to come and clean for me?]

After waiting for a while without getting a reply, Xia Xin assumed that Jing Mo was probably busy filming and didn't have time to check his phone. Tired from the previous day's hospital visit, she fell asleep holding her phone.

Xia Xin was awakened by a WeChat message and saw that it was already 3 p.m.

Jing Mo replied, [Yes, I arranged for a cleaning lady. The broken things have been cleaned up, and I also installed a camera at the entrance.]
