Coraa's first day went much more differently than she had actually expected it to go especially with meeting that man, Master GerryStock after breakfast. She had hurried away from that dining hall as though the devils were on her heels. It wasn't until her unwanted companion Alex had complained about her walking speed that she had finally slowed down. They had been half-way to their first class by that time.

"You walk like a speed demon", Alex had huffed, complaining. "Why did you have to rush us out of there? We could have waited for Abitha and Warren right outside the room instead of leaving them behind".

"Sorry", Coraa had responded softly, trying to catch her breath as well. "I wasn't thinking-"
