Yu Ijin!

Rooh entered the room carrying three unconscious individuals on her shoulder and proceeded to throw them onto the floor. Maintaining a stoic expression, she addressed. "Master Rudra, just like your order, I didn't kill them."

Rudra acknowledged her accomplishment, expressing his approval with a brief comment, "Well done, Rooh."

Witnessing this astonishing sight, others found it hard to believe their eyes. Rooh, an angelic girl, had managed to subdue armed mercenaries with remarkable ease.

Do Hyun, noticing blood on Rooh's hand, grew concerned and exclaimed, "Miss Rooh, are you wounded? Your arm is bleeding! Sang Hoon, swiftly procure the necessary medical supplies!"

Remaining unfazed, Rooh pointed her finger at the mercenaries and calmly clarified, "No, that blood does not belong to me but rather to them."

Two out of the three mercenaries received vicious leg wounds, inflicted with brutal force. However, due to Rooh's adept utilization of acupressure point techniques, the severity of their injuries went largely unnoticed.

With an air of self-assurance, Rudra chuckled and instructed Do Hyun, "Once you are done taking care of Rooh's well-being, proceed to secure these mercenaries."

Right now, Rooh is holed up in another room, fully immersed in her mysterious research. Meanwhile, Rudra made his way into the room where they had secured the three infiltrators who had breached their base earlier.

Rudra had his doubts about getting any useful information from interrogating these mercenaries.

The leader of the group was a young girl, probably around 19 or 20 years old. It seemed likely that they were affiliated with Iron's Special Mercenary Camp, the place where they trained those folks called Numbers.

Approaching the girl with her silver hair and a hint of purple, Rudra asked, "Did Mad Dog send you? And what number do you go by?"

Upon hearing Rudra's questions, the girl's expression flickered for a moment, but she quickly regained her composure and chose to stay silent.

"Hmm, looks like you're not willing to talk," Rudra commented. "Anyway, never mind your number. Do you have any idea where I can find 001?"

Rudra knew that bringing up 001, who was actually Yu Ijin, would hopefully provoke a reaction from her. He wanted to gather some intel on Yu Ijin's current situation, especially given the look in her eyes that hinted at her connection to the Numbers.

For the first time, the previously silent mercenary girl spoke up upon hearing the mention of code number 001. "How do you know about 001? Who are you? Is this all part of Mad Dog's setup?"

With a smirk on his face, Rudra replied, "Let's make a deal. You give me the information I want, and in return, I'll share what I know. Sound fair?"

She agreed, simply saying, "Deal."

Rudra inquired, "Tell me, what number are you?"

"I am number 005. Now tell me what you know about number 001?" she responded.

"Just that he is alive, and he must be somewhere nearby," Rudra replied.

"Are you working with Mad Dog?" she asked.

"Nah, in fact, he's currently becoming a nuisance to me, so I'm planning to eliminate him."

"Do you think that's easy? But then how do you know 001?" she inquired.

"Oh, I have no intention of harming 001, so don't worry," Rudra assured her.

Smash!

Bam!

Suddenly, the sounds of a fierce battle reverberated through the area, emanating from the hallway outside.

Rudra thought to himself, 'Huh? What's happening outside?'

"Hey, 005, did you bring some backup?" Rudra asked the mercenary girl.

"No, I only have these two," she replied.

Rudra swiftly ran outside to where the noise was coming from and saw Daegun fighting someone. Do Hyun was on the ground, hurt with a knife sticking out of his stomach.

Rudra observed the intense battle between the mysterious person and Daegun and immediately recognized him. 'What the hell? Who is this person? He's not only able to match Daegun's skills but overpower him as well. Wait, he has silver hair and a black mask on his face, and he's around 180 cm tall. There's only one person like him, it's Yu Ijin, code number 001.'

Daegun was being pushed back by the masked individual who utilized his surroundings with great battle insight.

Rudra realized the danger of the situation. If the fight continued, Daegun could be seriously injured, and it seemed like Yu Ijin had come here to rescue number 005.

Taking swift action, Rudra intervened by catching Daegun's mid-air punch and Yu Ijin's knife simultaneously, utilizing his superhuman strength. He declared, "Hey, that's enough. Stop this pointless fight right now."

Yu Ijin saw Rudra easily grab the knife with his bare hand, he felt a strong murderous intent from him. He tried to think of ways to fight back, but couldn't find a good plan. Realizing that it would be pointless to continue fighting someone who had the upper hand, Yu Ijin reluctantly chose to give in and do what Rudra wanted.

Rudra informed Yu Ijin, "If you're here for 005, she's currently alive."

Yu Ijin asked, "Where is she?"

Pointing to his right with frustration, Rudra replied, "I've tied her up in that room with her comrades. You can take her with you, but the damage caused by all of you has been significant, you know? You injured one of my members, and she eliminated my entire guard unit. So, how will you compensate for that?"

Yu Ijin inquired, "What do you want?"

Rudra smirked and said, "Join my crew for five years."

Rudra's thoughts raced as he considered Yu Ijin's potential and the advantage of having him indebted. He believed that in this world, Yu Ijin's battle sense could surpass even the strongest fighters in Seoul, without the limitations of his previous canon word. Rudra envisioned shaping Yu Ijin into a powerful ally.

After some contemplation, Yu Ijin responded, agreeing to join Rudra's cause.

With a smug expression, Rudra said, "Haha, wise decision."

Bam!

Suddenly, Rudra launched a punch at Yu Ijin's upper arm, sending him flying 20 meters back and causing the stone wall to crack upon impact.

Surprisingly, instead of evading or enduring the blow, Yu Ijin stabbed the knife into Rudra's hand. When faced with an opponent too formidable to defeat, sometimes leaving a mark is the best one can do.

Rudra burst into laughter. "Haha, it's a shallow wound, but you have passed. You made an interesting choice by attacking me instead of dodging. Why didn't you dodge?"

With an unyielding expression, Yu Ijin stood tall, despite his cracked arm and blood dripping from his head due to the impact of the wall.

Yu Ijin responded with a cold demeanour, "You could have easily killed me with your punch if you had aimed for my chest. But by holding back and only striking my arm, it was clear that it was a test. So, I chose not to dodge."
