Damien didn't like the tone she used on him. He thought everything was going to be well between them after their hearty conversation but her behaviours were proving him wrong at every level. Still he decided to deal with her with patience and sighed to let go of his frustration. 

He just nodded at her in response while looking at her intensely. She laughed out instantly after he confirmed her statement which was a pure sarcasm from her end. Damien frowned at her but she didn't pay attention to him as she was busy laughing.
