Well, not everyday spy. I am the head of the Chinese Division of TraSpy.
I was just a village girl in Hong Kong, and I was picked up by the spy organization in somewhere around the year 1935 when I was 10 years old, after my father and mother died from overwork and starvation after our land was stolen by those Britishers.
I was then brought to Nicobar Island, where I was trained. The training conditions were hard. But I didn't mind doing anything as long as I got enough food. I learnt reading and writing, both in Mandarin and English. Well, if I learn Travelish, I would be immediately caught as a spy, right?
I learnt Kung Fu, how to manipulate people, act cute and be a good diplomat. I even underwent Plastic Surgery to become more beautiful by the Chinese Standards. That's not all, I even had to become good in Kung Fu and swear that I will eat only healthy food.
Then I 'established' The Nuwang Company, and I became richer and richer as time passed.
I established China Town in Salem of my second home Travancore Kingdom. From here, I operated the business to capture the Chinese market, and sneak in and train spies through it. Capturing Hong Kong was easy enough as the Britishers started 'disappearing' or getting seduced by my little foxes to become their puppets.
I also welcomed many refugees from the Second World War to my Chinatown, mainly women who were traumatized by the 'comfort camps'. Many went as far as completely changing their faces and names so that they wouldn't recognise themselves.
They were given choices to become labourers or factory workers, start training as diplomats, models or use their skills. But most of them didn't have any other skills than farming, and kingdom didn't really have any scarcity of farmers. So many of them agreed to become spies and forget their previous selves.
Yeah it is some sort of brainwashing and taking advantage of victims, but I don't really have the resorces to take care of them if they can't be useful to do any work. It's a do or die situation for them, and I can't help them beyond that.
But it's not like we are betraying our motherland. Our only goal is to establish very firm relationship between India and China. Both sides of Civil Warring parties have ridiculous border claims, which doesn't lead to anything but conflict. USA and USSR will just try to influence us for whichever party wins this useless conflict.
Both sides are too bullish with their ideologies, and the one who are dying are common people.
Whoever comes to the top, border tensions will come out, and since people will remain poor after civil war, they will join army and it will lead to more motivation for land expansion. If I was born 20 yeara earlier, I would have made my own faction, but it's useless to think about it.
Anyway, after buying Hong Kong from British, which we didn't really need to since my girls were within the range for assassinations of higher positioned Britishers, I will be the head of the autonomous state of Hong Kong.
I mean, I will be the wife of my puppet who will be the head of Hong Kong and the Vice President of the Hong Kong Party.
My current goal is to improve the living conditions, establish proper political system, do land redistribution, create a good business environment, and prevent any of the two fighting parties to influence my Hong Kong.
I am given the mandate that Hong Kong will be sold to whoever wins China, after some 20-30 years. So, I must prepare the biggest bid if I want to remain in power. The support I will be receiving will only last till the Chinese Civil War, and I can't use that money for the bid.
But I know that even if I did end up buying Hong Kong, mainland will just take it due to the sheer number of military personnel.
So, my goal is to wait for an opportunity for dissatisfaction amongst the people, and then sweep in and take control of the mainland as well.
I want to go down in history as the many great Empresses of China, but not as someone cruel, but as a savior. And then, I would have paid my debt to Queen Thirumala for saving me and many people's lives.
