"Listen here, little bitch! When you go in there, make sure you only address him as Alpha or Master. Do you get what I'm saying?"

Ben said as we came to a stop in front of a large ivory-carved door with a gold knocker.

I assumed this was the room of the so-called Alpha Cedric.

He grabbed the sides of my arms. I couldn't tell if it was because his nails dug into my skin or because of his incredible strength, but his tight grip on me hurt a lot.

Furthermore, I despised being told what to do and had no desire to be so easily submissive.

"And what if I don't?" I challenged him. My face was a clear mask of defiance.

His eyes widened for a split second as another wave of surprise washed over him. However, the expression vanished as quickly as it appeared, to be replaced by one of anger and disgust.

His hand made an instant connection with my neck. I felt my legs wobble as he began to choke me.
