บท 22: CHAPTER 18: GOLDEN ARCH-DRAGON vs RED DRAGON
*BOOM* *BOOM* explosions thundered in the bright cloudy skies..
Flames crackled with menacing heat as they sort to devour the entire miles on miles of forest below..
As the two fighters separated after another collision as if in tacit agreement, they stared at each other with blazing fighting intent in their eyes..
*ROOOOAAAARRRR*
{DRAGON'S BREATH}
Giving his opponent no time for respite, the red dragon, long chi, spat a hot scorching breath of flames towards Drago..
Seeing his opponent's attack, Drago puffed out his cheeks, gathered energy in his lungs before replying in kind
*ROOOOAAAARRRR*
{{ARCH-DRAGON'S BREATH}}
He spat out a blinding line of light from his mouth that was as thick as four pillars combined together..
His attack, despite being released late, arrived at the point of collision first with unrivaled momentum.
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM*
Following a loud explosion, the space surrounding the point of collision was bending out of shape, but before the damage could spread, the beam of Golden light took the advantage, and destroyed the raging breath in it's path before heading straight toward Long Chi..
Seeing that his attack had been negated, his expression changed slightly before he immediately moved his body from the path of the light beam..
*BOOOM*
Colliding with the mountains behind them, the beam of light reduced one of the mountains to a pile rubles..
Seeing the outcome of the attack, the dragon gulped audibly before staring at Drago, who had a toothy grin on his face, warily.
"I underestimated you" he spoke in a gloomy tone of voice..
Drago, hearing this couldn't help but be amused "I'm normally the one overestimating my enemies, but here I am being underestimated.. I wonder what the others would do if they saw this" he muttered under his breath..
Seeing that his opponent seemed to be lost in his thoughts, he acted..
Raising it's head towards the sky, it spoke in a deafening voice,
{AGNI ASTRA}
Following it's voice, a majestic red sun appeared in the sky, shining brightly and giving off horrendous waves of heat..
Snapping out of his and looking up to see the attack conjured by his opponent, Drago grinned..
{{CREATION OF LIGHT- AEGIS}}
He summoned ten magnificent golden shields covering up his entire body in a layer of protection..
Bringing down the {AGNI ASTRA} with a gesture of its head, the attack plummeted down at absurd speeds, quickly colliding with the {{AEGIS}} surrounding Drago
*BOOOOOOOM*
A massive collision led to shockwaves blasting the surrounding ashen trees and everything else away from them..
And with that collision,
*CRACK*
A crack sound was heard,
*CRACK* *CRAACK* *CRAAAACK*
Followed by another, then another, before long, the entire {{AEGIS}} was covered in cracks, before exploding
*BOOM*
In a shower of light.
losing the obstruction in it's path, the {AGNI ASTRA} continued unhindered towards Drago at blinding speeds, though weaker due to expending it's energy in the earlier collision..
seemingly 'unable' to react to the attack, Drago could do nothing but cross his arms in front of his face and take the attack head on..
*BOOOOOM* *THUD*
Following a large explosion, he shot down from the sky like a comet before creating a crater over 50 meters wide, and equally as deep..
"Damn, that's not a good feeling at all", groaning as he climbed up out of the huge hole, Drago complained as he shook his arms which now had a burnt patch on them, to get rid of the numbness and pain..
"Hahahaha, I was right to restrict my stats, this is much more fun, I guess that's what one can expect from someone of the true dragon bloodline" He muttered to himself with a crazed maniacal smile.
Seeing his opponent crawl out with what couldn't even be considered minor injuries, the dragon's pupils, which were already constricted, constricted further in shock and apprehension..

Using his favorite innate skill so far..
Drago conjured up two swords, one pure gold with intricate runic designs of the cycle of life and death, and the other, a white gold sword with royal designs adorning it..
Bright wings of golden light, appeared on his back looking like real wings of pure gold..
Looking up with blazing battle intent he roared "MY TURN HAHAHAHAH"
And vanished from the spot..
Sensing the huge threat from the right side of it's body, long chi, turned and blocked with his claws,
*CLANG*
A jarring sound of metals clashing, followed by Drago's figure appearing briefly before vanishing again,
*CLANG* CLANG
Using his speed to his advantage, he appeared at different, tricky angles and continuously slashed his swords at the dragon, aiming to cut it up into a few pieces.
*CLANG*
Following another clash, they separated..
Looking at the dragon, Drago charged his swords with energy before slashing out in a cross manner, sending out to cross slashes at his opponent.
Sensing the threat in the attack coming at him, the dragon, swung it's tail, hoping to cancel out the attack but,
*CLANG* *SLAAASH*
Following after a sound of metals colliding, a chilling sound of flesh being sliced rang out in the air,
*ROOOOOAAAAAAAARRRRRR*
then a roar of pain escaped the dragon's mouth.
Looking at the deep wound on his opponent's body, Drago clicked his tongue before sending out multiple slashes of light with reckless abandon..
Seeing the multiple attacks coming for him, Long Chi, no longer dared to block with his body but instead decided to evade the attacks.
Which was easier said than done, since all the slashes seemed to have been aimed precisely at locations he would dodge or evade towards..
After a seemingly endless barrage of attacks, the dragon's body was revealed, various ghastly wounds painted it's once beautiful crimson scales, it's breathing rough as it stared at his hated foe..
Drago, panting heavily after utilizing his mana recklessly, seemingly forgetting the fact that he sealed his infinite amount of it to a pitiful 80, no longer able to keep up his creations due to being mentally exhausted as well, stared back at his opponent, weariness in his eyes but still unwilling to let it end here..
As if by tacit agreement, they moved towards each other, engaging in their second round.

.....
The flames were starting to die down, and all that could be seen was a scene of black ashes and charred corpses, painting the once lively scenery with a dreary feeling of desolation and death..
But unlike the flames, the battle in the sky was still going strong, despite both combatants being dead tired, despite both being unable to use any skills due to mana exhaustion, they refused to give in to the other due to their inner pride refusing them from bowing their heads in defeat..
*BOOM* *BOOM* *BOOM*
Engaging in the most primal way of battles, using their own bodies as weapons, a massive 300 meter long dragon faced off against a tiny figure size wise but equally if not more in strength, in battle..
*BOOM* BOOM CRACK
Following several explosions, Drago amidst the battle, landed on the dragon's head, grasping at one of it's horns, he pulled violently, breaking it off the beast's head.
*ROOAR*
giving a roar of pain, Long Chi, tossed the intruder from his back, high into their air..
Stabilizing mid air, Drago squeezed what measly amount of mana he had regenerated, since he sealed his regenerative abilities to, to enjoy the battle to its fullest, he conjured up a round platform of light mid air, before using all the strength in his legs to propel himself towards his opponent..
Sensing danger, Long Chi raised his head and his pupils shuddered as he stared helplessly at a Horn that had appeared instantly in his vision, powerless to resist, it could only watch as the horn stabbed powerfully into it's head, breaking It's skull and reaching his brain...
