บท 229: Bullying a Cardinal

Cardinal Rossi was caught between curiosity and apprehension as he gazed upon the masked man in the black kimono. Although he couldn't recognize the identity concealed beneath that eerie facade, it was evident that the leader of the Order, in his mummified form, held a different perspective. 

A fleeting moment of fear flickered in the lifeless eyes of the cursed mummy as it locked onto the enigmatic figure.

Cardinal Rossi, not accustomed to seeing such a reaction from the leader of the order, was momentarily stunned. The man he faced had consistently shown an unyielding demeanor throughout their confrontation. Yet, the mere presence of this masked individual invoked a fear the Cardinal couldn't ignore.

Suddenly, the cursed mummy broke the silence, addressing the masked figure with a question that sent shockwaves through Cardinal Rossi's understanding of the situation.
