"Are you ready to get your ass beaten?" Charlotte stood in front of Elliana, a smirk plastered on her face as she looked at the girl, who didn't look too sure about this battle anymore.

Elliana, on the other hand, felt a weird ache in her chest, a strange wariness settling in her heart. It was almost as if something bad was happening around her somewhere.

Her emotions were going haywire, and there was no control over them, which made it difficult for her to understand what was happening or concentrate on anything.

Her gaze moved to the audience, sitting on the sidelines on the bleachers to see the battle, her fists clenched by her side.
