Elliana felt cold. It wasn't the kind of coldness you feel when you are not wearing enough clothes for winter, or when you are swimming in icy water.
It was the kind of coldness that you feel when someone is staring at you intently and you don't know what is going on inside their mind.
She moaned in her sleep, curling into a ball inside the blanket.
The uneasiness was still there. No matter how warm she was inside the blanket, it wasn't enough.
With her brows knitting close, she finally blinked her eyes, opening them slightly.
The first thing she noticed was the open curtains of the balcony and she sighed.
So that was the source of her coldness? But she clearly felt like someone was - She groaned in displeasure, her head feeling heavy before she turned on her back and looked at the ceiling.
This was their room, her and Mr. Marino's room.
