"Elliana, sweety, how are you feeling now?" Ruth asked in her overly sweet voice, and Elliana, who had heard of her intentions when she had read Miss Zoya's thoughts, pressed her lips into a thin line.

Anyone would believe this lady was a good person and your well-wishers if you didn't know what goes inside her head. 

"I am feeling much better. Thank you for asking," Elliana walked towards the main hall.

"Is Mr. Marino not here?" She asked, looking around, and Angelo who was passing by, ruffled her hair, making her look at him with raised horrified eyes.

"Angelo, what is this behavior? Is this how you treat a lady?" Carla scowled at him, and he smirked.

"Mom, she is barely a girl," Angelo grinned.
