"Ugh…" Dane opened his weary eyes, his vision blurry, but he could see a silhouette of a person standing beside him. "Who… are you?"

He squinted his eyes, droplets of sweat forming on his forehead. He blinked and blinked, trying to see the face. But alas, it was too dark and his vision was too blurry to even guess who it was. However, he could see his movements. 

Dane narrowed his eyes more, watching the man holding a syringe and a small bottle. The man then flicked the syringe before turning his head to him. 

"A doctor?" he muttered in a daze, reaching out to the man's clothes. "Are you… a doctor?"

The man didn't speak, but Dane knew he was looking at him. 

"No," whispered Dane, shaking his head mildly. "No, you're not…"
