The news of Heaven's condition shook each one of them in a pool of confusion, fear, and distraught. They expected unnecessary changes in their plan and were aware things could go south with a snap of a finger. However, Heaven's situation was the least everyone expected. For sure, Heaven, herself, didn't expect to find herself in such a dire situation. 

She was skilled enough to save herself in life-and-death situations. 

Therefore, their confidence in her was the reason they were thrown off guard when they heard the news. It was the very reason none of them couldn't fully dive deep into the aftermath of today's mission. But now that her operation was a success — regardless of the doctor's advice — they were able to delude themselves she was just recovering in the intensive care unit.
