บท 235: Chapter 235 – Sabrina’s wish

Before Robin asked, Zayla continued to speak,

"That day, she saw us and left, probably thinking there was something between us. You didn't see her and she also didn't know that I set it up to keep her from you."

She swallowed the saliva that was choking her because of the tears and began to round up, 

"That day also marked the end of my fake friendship with Sabrina but I didn't care about her anymore because I already got what I wanted. I'm sorry."

Her confession increased Robin's guilt for the way he treated Sabrina when all she did was love him unconditionally but the question jolting his mind was still not answered so he asked,

"So why did you leave if you intended to have me?" 

To the best of his understanding, she should have stayed to claim him since she already removed Sabrina from the picture.

Zayla laughed bitterly. How she wished that Robin's father had been the one to die in place of her mother or better still, both of them.
