"Don't you dare meet with him," Sheila paced around the room, making Mia dizzy. Ever since Mia started narrating her conversation with Jack, Sheila had taken to moving around her room. It seemed funny that she was more bothered than Mia.
"I don't think it's a big deal. He is finally willing to sign the divorce papers. That is a good sign."
Sheila moved again, shaking her head. "I doubt that's a good thing. Jack isn't the type to give up on things this easily. He is just willing to let you go like that after he had refused."
Truly, Mia knew Jack hardly changes his mind, but she had the feeling that he was sincere. "I think he doesn't have any hidden plan this time around. I am sure of that."
"Do you remember when he was wooing you? He wouldn't let go no matter the number of times you rejected him then."
