A figure draped in a black cloak was standing atop a ruined building, right next to the one Kaden was standing on. She had a slender body and her posture was one of grace and poise.

Silver hair flowed from beneath her hood, cascading down her back like a shimmering waterfall. A few stray strands, caught by the gentle breeze, danced around her face, which was partially obscured by the hood.

The only visible feature was a pair of piercing blue eyes that seemed to see beyond the immediate surroundings, as if observing something far away, or perhaps, something not of this world.

The cloak she wore was intricately embroidered with silver and gold threads, depicting ethereal patterns that shifted and changed as light hit them. Even in the desolate backdrop of destruction, she looked like a beacon of elegance and mystery.

Kiera.

Kaden knew it was her. It was unmistakably her. His gaze was transfixed on the figure.
