Arianna
I was out of the tower again, to look for a way to send a letter to Cassie.
I also have to find out what is happening in Aradia.
Did prince alexander find out about my disappearing and if he did, is the marriage being called off?
It has only been three days; it is unlikely that he found out but there are only one week and 3 days left until my engagement. If I will be able to stay here that long without anyone finding my identity, then this marriage will get cancelled for sure.
After searching for hours, I tumbled upon a small tent where there was a sign hanging saying they will deliver messages, I decided to try my hand in it.
"hello" I greeted the young woman standing behind the wooden table, "I was wondering if you will deliver a message outside of the kysoria?"
"Outside of kysoria? Where do you want the message to be delivered?" she asked, her eyes narrowing in suspicion.
"I don't know, I was sent to find out by my master." I replied, making sure I looked innocent. There is no trusting anyone. It is already suspicious that I was asking them to deliver a message outside of the country. If they find out that a girl like me is trying to send a letter to Aradia, they will think of me as a spy.
I was planning to sneak my letter into the pile of letters they will deliver through magic.
It will be delivered through magic without anyone knowing the exact location of the receiver through the enchantments woven into the piece of paper.
"We don't deliver outside of kysoria," the woman replied, going back to her work.
"Young miss?" a small voice asked, I turned to find Elius, staring at me with wide eyes.
"What are you doing here?" I asked him,
"I am here to get the delivery of the enchanted papers," he replied as the woman put a cardboard box on top of the table,
"You are late. here is your delivery," she said to Elius.
After paying her the coins for the delivery he turned to me and asked in a small voice, "You shouldn't go around asking people to send a letter outside of the kysoria, they will alert the soldiers, quick, follow me," taking the box with him, he guided me away from the woman who was looking at me suspiciously.
"You wanted to send a letter to Aradia, right?" he asked when we were in a quiet place. When I looked at him confused as to how he caught onto it, "You asked me yesterday. And don't worry I will not tell anyone."
"Is there a way?" I asked,
"It will be risky, so you will have to be careful." he said looking around the alley we were in to make sure that no one was listening to us. "You will have to find Rocco Marino. He is a dangerous man, but will do any task if you give him money."
"He is the most vicious person I have seen. Please be careful, if you decide to ask him for help."
A spicy chapter update for the 50th chapter will be posted if I receive gifts worth 100 coins or above.
