There was a large lid, and on top of the lid was a tiny object, that was used in scanning people's faces secretively. When it had finished scanning Renard's face, it opened on its own accord, revealing a secret stairway.

The magic section hummed with energy as skilled enchanters upgraded arcane artifacts. Intricate runes glowed, revealing the mixture of mysticism and technology that defined the facility's abilities.
