UNKNOWN CHANGES
"Where am I?" Jack questioned, urgency lacing his words.
Before delving into explanations, Anetia handed Jack a jug of red liquid. The sight fueled Jack's skepticism; was this some kind of macabre sustenance? Anetia, however, maintained an air of composure, suggesting an underlying complexity to the situation.
"Before we jump into questions," Anetia began, "you should take this." The jug held an unsettling allure, and Jack hesitated.
"You're giving me blood to drink? No thank you, I don't drink that," Jack protested, recoiling from the jug of crimson liquid offered by Anetia. Despite his words, an undeniable curiosity gripped him. As he spoke, he couldn't ignore the subtle shifts in his own body's reaction to the strange liquid.
Anetia, with a calm demeanor, quickly clarified, "No, Jack, that is a wine with an iron flavor." The reassurance eased Jack's immediate concerns, but a lingering suspicion lingered in Jack's gaze.
